I know it's not just about having to live on King St for a big chunk of the year; Kruk's disease takes a real toll on him. I do not expect that he'll ever return in any full-time capacity.
But damn it would be cool if he could be a regular guest, maybe do a game with Kuip once in a while (Kruk did say this was something he's open to), or otherwise be a baseball pundit for the Giants.

I can confirm that Jackson Flora will join Single-A San Jose. He’s scheduled to pitch on Friday in Fresno.
Susan Slusser had it first.

Don't see fascination with Ramos, Morgan takes advantage of Rodriguez injury and Perdomo is an interesting rule 5 case.

The problem is the Giants are owned by 32 different people, which is just 31 too many in my opinion
So it would be hard for one person to come and buy out the team since there are so many different people with different motivations owning the team. Some may not want to sell

Since mods deleted main post, Angels being sold could be great news for the Giants, it could cut into the Dodgers' talent monopoly, especially for the players who are dead set on signing in Southern California.

I am fucking psyched! I was worried Kroenke would buy the Dodgers.
He's an incredibly smart owner and he would run the Dodgers like a juggernaut still but he actually would have the money to back it up and not have to do illegal Enron shit like Walter does.
Thank fuck he's with the Angels instead

Nope. This is the first official time we’ve faced him. We did face him in spring training when Team USA had an exhibition game against us though but I don’t really count that

Underwhelming, i was expecting to see Bo Davidson since he is rule 5 draft eligible next year. Why not see what he has? I think we have seen what McCray has to offer

The Giants are finalizing a minor league deal with Darren Baker, who will join Triple-A Sacramento when it's done. A cool homecoming for Dusty's son, who went to high school in the Sacramento area. He was in Triple-A with the White Sox earlier this season.

Random thought for the day. Its a little weird to me that baseball still has the same 5 man rotation/4 days of rest despite injuries being insane and pitchers throwing harder and with more spin than ever. I wonder if someday itll seem antiquated that it stayed to a 5 man rotation.

This scrappy team cobbled together with duct tape and minor leaguers is surprisingly very fun to watch. At least these guys are going out playing like it’s game 7 of the World Series every day for an opportunity to stay in the big leagues. Way better than watching vets go through the motions in a lost season.
