This game deserved better

Edit: to clear up confusion, i think 2XKO at 4th is amazing. Heartbroken about it ending development despite it still being very relevant at this tournament

Saw someone ask if the game would have been financially a success if it wasn't F2P. I figured most of the player base had a skin for their mains.

I don't even care much about Lux in this game but still.

I do not know the first thing about modding, so I'm just asking to learn.

As in the topic, would it be possible for a group of modders to create a mod pack like Heroes of Might and Magic Horn of the Abyss or the Marvel Infinite mod made in cooperation with Maximilian, where existing characters get balance changes and new characters are created? Not even made from scratch; I was thinking about a mix of already existing normals and specials with new models, of lower quality than that of Riot's

Especially with the Poppy model being introduced into the game, is it feasible to use it as a basis for a playable Poppy character?

I submitted a ticket to 2xko devs under general progression i think it was, pouring out my love and passion for this game and even expressed that I would be willing to purchase future characters with real money if it meant development continued. I was suprised to get a heartfelt reply from the dev/player support tech guy with the screen name sauces. He said he was happy to see the love and passion I had and promised to let devs know I had said I'd be willing to do so. He wasn't just spewing and copy pasting corporate speak he actually referenced specific parts of my very long rant. It just got me thinking.......... if riot games had a massive influx of tickets like this showing up expressing love for the game and people expressing the willingness to buy future characters either individually or in some kind of definitive edition similar to how mvc3 made and sold umvc3 could we maybe get another Year's worth of characters? Obviously this is a pipe dream highly unlikely. But attempting is free and If you love this game I think we should atleast try. Anyways that's my rant feel free to get instantly triggered and downvote me into oblivion for having a dream. It was fun playing 2xko and I probably will continue to do so until it's no longer possible. I love this community every single one of You even the teemo players. take care.

Once development is stopped it'd be cool if they would release mod tools for people to add more characters to the game.

The design and artistic direction of the characters and world have definitely influenced me! It’s what made me so much more interested in the game after ARCANE ended.

I really hope the art community might continue on with the style in fan arts! But I’m saddened, truly.

What if the reason they are shutting 2XKO down is because they're developing 3XKO for another 10 years, led by the third brother of the Cannon brothers, called Tommy Cannon? In League, there are three lanes, after all, so they must have realized 2XKO isn't really gonna work. They will rework Double Down into Triple Down.

The 2XKO tournament commentators will mainly be Ketchup and Mustard, along with their long-lost third brother, Mayonnaise.

Usually, when people count down, they count to 3. League of Legends is three words. Marc Merrill, the co-founder of League of Legends, has the IGN Tryndamere, which is named after a champion. And what do the names Marc Merrill and Tryndamere have in common? They have 3 syllables, and so does the word shareholders, which will fund 3XKO.

Unless we know it goes to the devs why give riot more money for cucking us. Unless you play other riot games I feel like we should all just hope they slowly start failing

Updated my 2xko themed shencomix redraw!

Don't know if this has been reported on before but over the last few days I've been experiencing this bug on PS5. Sometimes on character select my controls will lock up and I can't press anything. No D-pad movement, can't select character, can't do anything. If I press the PS home button that still works, so my controller's definitely on, the game's just not registering my inputs. After the timer runs out and we're back in the lobby everything works again.

The only times I've noticed it happen are when I'm taken to character select by another player. For example:

-After the score is 1-0 my opponent goes back to character select and my controls lock up.

-If I join a duo and I'm not the leader, when trying to select characters for ranked my controls lock up.

-When part of a duo and not the leader if we get into a match my controls lock up.

The worst part is that the game considers this a disconnect so I get the fair play warning.

Just noticed about the end of service but didn't find anything about skins. Can we get them for free or we still need to spend money to get them ?

Hi everyone, yesterday I noticed 3500 KO points were chilling in my inventory despite my balance being near 0 previously, did they give that to everyone ? My first thought was "oh they refunded my purchases in KO points ?" But I know it's not the case

One of the discussed reasons I saw getting mention on why 2XKO failed, is the little to no marketing, so I got curious on what actually worked and got us into the game! I've included the 3 things that get mentioned the most, I wonder if there are actually people who, idk, randomly saw it in a twitter post or smth (would be cool if all "other" would share their experience in comments!)
