Flying from California to Minnesota tomorrow to go to the concert Wednesday. Then coming back home Thursday. That’s it, that’s the post assuming the mods let it stay.

Literally almost all of the songs on this album are on par with current AJR, only not including WIAMH, Thirsty and maybe Woody Allen. Like I don't even know

Loving this new story post from our beloved R in AJR. Exploring the great scapes of Alaska together, we see Ryan and his gorgeous girlfriend cozying up for this adorable selfie. The rest of Ryan's story encapsulates discovering the wildlife that Alaska has to offer.
We see a contrast in AJR's HQ post with R and J enjoying the Alaska state fair. So glad that the boys are enjoying the simple things in life like carnival games and prizes. Although, the song choice is one that really sparked my interest and had me second guessing these two individual posts.
Taking a look behind the song choice, The Man in Me by Bob Dylan, which grew in popularity through the film The Big Lebowski (1998). The Man in Me rock the lyrics...
[Verse 1]
The man in me will do nearly any task
And as for compensation, there's little he would ask
Take a woman like you
To get through to the man in me
[Verse 2]
Storm clouds are raging all around my door
I think to myself I might not take it anymore
Take a woman like your kind
To find the man in me
Which, after a quick internet search of the meaning, the song 'explores how a romantic partner can awaken and reveal a person's true self, highlighting vulnerability, individuality, and emotional connection'. Bob Dylan wrote this song in the wake of stepping away from the rockstar life and choosing to settle down. With the addition of the inclusion of the film, the song became an anthem of 'personal liberation and human connection' (American Songwriter)
We have been speculating for some time The Big Goodbye and when we are going to see any new music. My theory...what if this is it? That we are finally seeing our favorite band enter into the next phase of their life? We know it is not a goodbye to music...but a goodbye to something else. Have any of us figured out what that Big Goodbye is?
I'm going to say the hard part out loud, I'm sorry to be saying it so blunt. What if it is a goodbye to toxic/unhealthy relationships? We see this trend throughout the WNOT EP. We hear about how it is terrifying to face the facts of a failing relationship in The Plane That Never Lands. How Olly (best band member imo) watches the family fight in A Dog Song. We listen to Jack recount the struggle of wanting to be ready to settle down in Betty but "I'm not man enough". Then, I'm Sorry You Went Crazy, is practically self-explanatory of loving someone through their mental state. Finally, we see this conclusion with The Big Goodbye.
With all of this, I theorize The Man in Me.

A few days ago, the thought crossed my mind: "What would a Deluxe version of *Living Room* have been like?" And that’s why I’m here.
I actually started thinking about which songs to include (meaning, thinking like AJR), so I analyzed the Deluxe version of *The Click*, but I didn't get good results. So, I started looking for inspiration on other subreddits or on YouTube. While searching, I came across a fan-made LV Deluxe. So, I borrowed a few ideas from it, as well as from a YouTube video featuring an "Overture" concept for LV (Deluxe).
So, here is my version of a Living Room (Deluxe)
NEW SONGS:
14. AfterHours
15. Alice By The Hudson
16. Buy You A Rose
17. 3AM
18. married, on a hill
19. The Lotto (feat. AJR)
20. Fisherman
21. I'm Ready (Remix)
22. Mercy (On Me)
23. Enjoy the Show
24. LET THE GAMES BEGIN
