(TW: BAD ENGLISH!)
For me:
Zee (Ex-Member, 7th Generation): I like Zee because she's now a fan of a racing team from Formula 1 called Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team where she admires her favorite driver Kimi Antonelli.
Michelle Alexandra (11th Generation): Mostly, this is my 1st favorite 11th generation member of all time recently she has become a fan of Formula 1 Racing Team Scuderia Ferrari, and admires one of their racer, Charles Leclerc. (Btw yes. I'm an F1 and a 48 group fan.)
Oline Manuel (12th Generation): This was my first oshi from the 12th generation but before joining JKT48, she was a cosplayer back then. And then, she was also friends with Erine (Catherina Vallencia).

I used to really struggle to differentiate the current members of AKB48. Back then, they all gave off the same "princess type" vibe, and it felt like they were lacking the variety of the older generations.
But around the 20th anniversary—especially after Sato Airi's cheerleading post went viral—I started noticing how distinct their personalities actually are. It feels like they have successfully developed these distinct personality archetypes, and when I look at them now, they feel like a diverse high school classroom. Here is the vibe I get from each of them:
🎓 Yuiyui: The perfect top student.
🏃♀️ Zukki: The chaotic classmate who makes you sneak out of class for an adventure.
🎤 Naru: The goofy class president leading a chaotic school festival performance.
💄 Eri Chiba: The rich diva, glamorous Instagram model.
📣 Sato Airi: The popular, athletic star of the cheer squad.
🎀 Momoka: The textbook "perfect idol" classmate and blogger.
⛩️ Azu: The sweet, ultra-shy, reserved shrine girl or church girl.
With so many new idol groups debuting these days, this is really what sets AKB48 apart. I think their true identity—even back in the Golden Gen—is that they are the goofy, relatable idols who feel like your actual classmates. If the AKB48 world were a school ecosystem, the sister groups are from other school branches, while kennin members are the temporary transfer students. As for Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi, I view them as the international exchange students.
And about Yuiyui, Zukki, Naru, Eri, Sato,Momoka and Azu...for me, they are my Kami 7.
I wish we have Yuiyui and Zukki double center.
