Hi all, this post will combine a few different guides together and change the current Beginner Guide format, so that the guide can be edited and updated by any member of the mod team; as such, we can have one beginner guide that is constantly kept up-to-date. if you have suggestions, improvements or clarifications that the guide or wiki system could benefit from, please use modmail to contact the moderators about it.
Hope it helps!

Hi all!
After a not-so-recent poll, we've been developing a set of rules to allow event notifications to be set up. These notifications are posts in the form of "flyers"!
Flyers are essentially an image used to display important information about an event, subject to the new flyer rules.
Hopefully they'll be useful, enjoy!

Made out of a haribo tub, pretty messy job, but more of a proof of concept than the finished thing. Now I know it works I'll try making it for a midcap.

Why wear modern garments with perfect mobility and camo when you can be the most noticeable players on the field with bigger hitbox?

I recently came to the realization that I have pretty much all I need in terms of guns and gear, I have good protections/shoes/kneepads, good radios and related equipment.
I have my HPA LCT RPK which I love dearly and other well built guns (smg, shotgun and precision rifle) that I dont use nearly enough because I just love the RPK too much and a pile of boneyard guns I could rebuild and also never use.
At this point the only thing that would make sense is pretty much buy tens of kilograms of bbs to feed the guns and not have to worry about that anymore and also play more often.
Im a pretty average player, not great in head on gunfights but I prefer being a support anyways but I do bring the shotgun sometimes when I want to run and gun.
What could I get to shake things up a bit? Not looking to spend for the sake of spending but im looking for suggestions of something maybe unusual or oddly useful (or straight up stupid fun)

Hi everyone, been rocking a FAMAS for years but it finally gave up on me and I think repairing and upgrading it will be costly and take a lot of time and tinkering, and I’m not even sure I’ll still get good performance out of it.
So I’m looking into a new rifle to buy and I think this novritsch SSR77A2 is a great deal for 350€ considering it’s “upgraded”, I still have a few accessories in spare to deck it up (optic, laser…) does anyone here have one and can give me some feedback ?
I never bought any Novritsch rifle so I don’t really know, Is it a good overall AEG for playing mostly outside in forests fields ? Thanks

I want to get into airsoft but not become poor.
Is this enough or should I change some stuff. I'm thinking, if the Cyma 028 is not good, I might get rid of the pistol and swap it for the cyma 048m.
EDIT: Forgot to say my budget is 300ish euro

Hey guys, about 6 months ago I bought the E&C 901 from taiwangun.
I recently brought it to the Field and to my surprise it shot like 1,9-2,1 Joules with 0.34.
On the website it says it shoots 1.88 joules with 0.2g Bbs.
I then bought 0.4g BBs at the Field and the number went up to 2.2-2,4.(The DMR Limit on the Field is 1.7-1.9).
I think the spring might be the Problem. Also the website it says it has an V2 gearbox so I should be fine with a standart aeg spring?
If anyone thinks otherwise or has a different idea pls let me know.

Since Vmags didn't want to work decently in my MCX, I sold almost all my mags and bought 14 new HK mags and as far I've tested, they work perfectly fine in my MCX, HK 416's, M4 and FNC. My MCX is. "V3" spec and my 416's and M4 are V2's with ESD valve knocker installed. They look dope in the MCX too. Even decently looking in my FNC.

i want to start reenacting/larp as late war german or wolkssturm. but since im out of every size chart and broke i decided tò make most of the Gear and uniform myself as a personal challenge.
here a list of the equipment so far:
[DIY G43 Mag pouch] why not the k98? leather Is expensive and hard to work with, also snow Wolf Mag would not fit innit.
[NVA belt] its almost the same as the ww2 One, It was 10€ and i dont want tò have any nazi Insignia on me.
[BGS repro y straps] not so accurate but not so wrong, i already got them so why not use them (15€)
[DIY m40 breadbag] tidious to make but i like It, im also gonna use it as a everyday bag
[mess kit] ik its post war but i actually use It to eat so i wanted something safe.
said so, very inaccurate for now but i plan tò upgrade It in the future.
ps: if the Gear look oversize It Is Just me that im Stuck in 14yo body

I attempted to record a video showing the problem.
VFC AK. The gun feels fine on semi, but on auto it dumps all the gas. Ive greased the mechanical parts and oiled the mag valve to where i can. I think the problem might be with the valve still not shutting. Id like to know what you think.
Video Volume up

Hi all,
So i am new to airsoft been going for a couple months and love it, got my Ukara (UK based) and bought my first gun.
Trued it out in the store before buying and loved the recoil look everything it was between this and the Recon ML.
Had my first game day with the beast this Sunday and love it. Although did run into some jams, mis feeds etc but i think this is down to the battery choice. I got a lion 11.1 3000mah 10c. Reading online due to the chunky motor and recoil feature i need a high current push so should have gone a Lipo. Let me know if i am wrong on this one ?
As you can see from the pic i got a amazon special sight for £20 bargain it done well but think i need somthing like a tube red dot sit what would you recommend?
Anyway problems i had day one
1/ jamming in semi auto
2/ shooting blanks
3/ pulling the trigger but BBs just falling out the barrel like the battery was dead
4/ luckily i noticed the grub screw nearly got lost out my selector.
Are these normal for this gun? is the Lion battery the culprit as i have read online?
Is it worth upgrading bucking and nub asap?
Also please recommend some goot attachment to accompany this beauty.

Title. My new Tokyo Marui MWS CQBR has had its handguard swapped, grip swapped, and a Magpul MOE stock attached. Also has a Sig Romeo MSR-1.
Using this replica extensively, I've realized I'm getting fatigued really quick. I already hit the gym four times a week and have a good physique. I came to the realization that this MWS specifically has a problem when I lifted up my far heavier 16.5 real steel AR-15 and drilled with it and realized I was getting far less fatigued than with my 10.3 TM MWS. I also tried using my Arcturus AK12 and realized that was extremely maneuverable and easy to use, too. The issue is slightly alleviated with fully extending the TM MWS stock, but long-term, I want to know ways I can stop having this strange weight imbalance. It's genuinely driving me insane.
Tldr: I don't fatigue with far heavier front heavy guns, but I do with this TM MWS.

Been wanting to get my hands on a compact gas-powered shotgun and I’ve got these two in mind. I’d appreciate some input from you guys.

If you have the S&T M1918a2 BAR and tried to pull out the lock pins for repair/disassembly needs, be careful with the bending of the tang!
I barely lifted the tang up to get out the little hole in order to rotate and snap! Off it came.
So I used a hacksaw to cut myself a slot for a screwdriver to rotate the pin out the detent and remove/reinstall without the tang. I dabbed on some grease as well to help keep it free. Hope this helps someone out here!
