I live out of town near deep woods, southern BC. never quite heard this sound before, curious if anyone can identify ? Thanks.

My brother in law saw this creature in Wilmington, NC yesterday and I feel like it's likely to be a coyote but it looks tall. I know red wolves are rare but is this a red wolf or just a tall coyote? 😂

I have been searching for an answer for weeks from an Amazon listing for these clippers, I really want to know what this poor baby is 🥺 So cute 😭

This guy showed up on my doorstep about an hour ago. He has a red tag on each leg, but I cannot make out what they say. I was going to try to grab him to read the tag but do not want to stress him out. He didn’t go crazy when I got close, and he drank some water I gave him. I believe he’s a pigeon but cannot tell if he is wild or maybe a pet?
I don’t want him to get eaten by a fox or something overnight.
Any advice on how to proceed?

Coyote and….somethin else….in the backyard tonight. A dog? A raccoon? Riparian habitat in a suburban area

I’m trying to figure out what this is. In slow mo, it appears to have a long tail. My camera pinged a bobcat, seems a bit large for a bobcat. Could this be a juvenile male lion seeking new territory?

They were huge, the photos don’t do their size justice. I drove right up to them, they were not intimidated or scared of my vehicle.

I found these tracks around this time last year in the southern Appalachian region, and I still haven’t been able to figure out what made them.
I’m keeping the exact location vague because I don’t want the location itself to influence the identification. The prints were roughly 4 to 4.5 inches long.
Any ideas what animal these could be?

Poking around a bit of sandy riverbank near an industrialized bit of the lower Stó:lō/Fraser River, we found human and dog and raccoon tracks in the wet intertidal zone. Then there was this little thing I couldn’t ID. Critter would have been active in the early morning but not before 8am as this sand was underwater then. Pic 2 includes my US size 7 boot for scale.

I stay awake at night and hear that thing, it seems rather large and I heard it move through the trees, so I think it's a mammal. You can hear the animal at best between the seconds 20-30, nothing comes after 30.

I’m certain this is some sort of mustelid, but I’m not sure which one. About the size of a house cat, but maybe a bit longer including the tail. Seen on a hike in the hills near Ashland, and quite a trek away from any body of water. My best guess is either a mink or a marten, but the tail didn’t look quite like anything I could find online

We see deer, bobcats, mountain lions, and even a house cat. This guy has us stumped.

Not talking about the house martin, the other one (i think its a dog but merlin said it was hearing a bird while it was calling out so i dony know honestly), any answers are appreciated!!!
