Can confirm, I'm a delivery driver and someone clipped the mirror off my van just two days ago in Madison. Bc he almost rear-ended me and had to swerve into the oncoming lane of traffic.
Just look at the amount of tire marks left on perfectly straight curbs.
Not in a curve or while you would be turning either; I am talking about 1/4 mile long straight areas with crisscrossing black tire marks all over the curbs.
That's not even taking any of the other insane crap you see daily in Ohio into consideration.
I watched a woman drive over a curb, into a mailbox, keep going, then start looking at her phone again before we made it to the red light a minute later.
And the average driver here doesn't know how to accelerate to the speed limit to merge onto the interstate (I refer to them as speed bumps), won't turn right on red without written permission from the president (no matter how clear it is), couldn't figure out how to use a center lane turn lane if you paid them in gold bars to do it, and swing into the opposite lane as if they are driving a semi truck pulling 2 trailers when making a basic turn.
No Austin/Karen, you don't need to move a full car width over to turn into the parking lot, you just need to learn to drive better.

My dad's advice, which has always stuck with me, is to pretend that every single other person on the road is a terrible driver.
