What’s a skill almost everyone thinks they’re good at until they meet someone who’s actually great at it?

Most martial artists say the best thing you can bring to a street fight is a good pair of running shoes.

The master at the Tae Kwon Do place I went to as a kid once demonstrated the best way to win a fight:

Run away screaming.

I mean, yeah, but you need to elaborate a bit how he managed to drive that home in front of a class of kids lol

I was in DC years ago after a Nationals game. I felt someone stick their hand in my back pocket to steal my wallet and I turned around and started chasing them on pure instinct. It looked like a teenage girl, but she led me to a group of hoodlums that formed a circle around me. One of them punched me in the back of the head, and I just turned heel and ran away. I've never been so angry in my life, but one person wins a fight against 5 only in Hollywood, where they wait and come at you one at a time.
