Loved this book. Was disappointed by the TV series tho.

The series was terrible... I understand it's hard to have a series told from first person, but inventing a character just drove me crazy...

Phenomenal book though. One of my favorites.

Indeed. In the book Jake carefully stalks Frank Dunning over several months, during two separate trips back in time. In the series, he just barges into the tavern like ‘hey I’m from out of town and I’lm looking for Frank Dunning hurr-de-durrrr.’ Horrible adaptation.
