Pre ordered back in may from the US store. Shipped August 21st and arrived September 1st! There were some delays due to the Indianapolis distribution center sending it to the wrong place 3 separate times but Iām just glad I got it.

The āBM Plush Pouchā has already sold out. Once again, Japanās collector culture has come up with something fans just canāt resist. Theyāve done it again.
In recent years, the term āoshi-katsuā has become popular among Japanese otaku and fandom communities. It refers to activities centered around supporting your favorite artist, idol, character, or group. One popular item is a small pouch with a clear window that lets fans carry around plush dolls of their favorite music group members. BABYMETALās version was released through A!SMART and quickly sold out.
Another item commonly seen among fans at Japanese rock festivals is a wrist supporter used for wiping away sweat. BABYMETAL released their own version with a small back pocket, and that sold out almost immediately as well.
This is a familiar pattern in the Japanese music industry. They constantly come up with merchandise that fans will want, deliberately keep production quantities limited so they do not end up with excess inventory, and repeatedly use the word ālimitedā to stimulate collector psychology.
It creates that feeling of, āIf I miss it now, I may never be able to buy it.ā
At this point, turning fan psychology into merchandise sales has practically become a Japanese specialty.

At MCR San Diego last night, we were directly in A5 at the B stage (aka front row for half the show) and just a few rows behind us was a DOG. No hearing protection, no service dog signage, no ADA, nothing. Posting here because the owner obviously is a babymetal fan. I didnt say anything in the moment to avoid conflict with someone much larger than me but if you know this person, please tell them to do better.
Dogs have way better hearing than us and that experience was loud enough for humans to require earplugs. To subject your pet to that is just cruel.

I saw the san Diego concert only had like 8 songs and was really short. Im going to toronto and wondering if thats the setlist for the NA portion or will they sing more like the other countries?

Despite the nosebleed seats, the brief set, and the disappearing merch, it was a blast taking the kid to see her seventh BABYMETAL show last night. We got to run into old friends, met [u/rickwagner](u/rickwagner), got about a billion homemade bracelets, and watched the kid get showered in compliments for her uniform.
She usually chooses to be Su, but this time went with a Moa look. The best for me, though, was dancing like crazy next to my daughter to our shared favorite band. I didnāt take many videos or pictures to live in the moment, but you see some here.
On October 1st, it will be my first BABYMETAL show without my daughter since I saw them in 2016. I will be in the pit area for the first time since then. It will be bittersweet, but damn if Iām not looking forward to it. I also like both opening bands for the upcoming tour, so it will be aces all around.

Hey Yall,
I recently had to have an unexpected procedure done and I was hoping to feel 100% by the concert but itās not happening. Iām hoping that I will have a seat to rest in, because without it Iām not sure I can last through the concert.
My concern is that I know I had booked something that was on the floor of Ball Arena, but not GA so I was 50/50 whether Iād have somewhere to sit

I came home to some amazing mail today. A belated (very belated) birthday gift. To get it the day after seeing BABYMETAL makes it feel somewhat miraculous.
The BABYMETAL fandom, for all its quirks and occasional challenges, has offered me a much needed sense of belonging during the hardest years of my life. Funko pops are a silly way to be reminded of that, but I feel that these are a token nonetheless.

I went to the MCR show on the 30th and saw Babymetal open (incredible show they were great) and I really wanted to get the folding fan, but unfortunately they sold out before I got to the front of the merch line. I know that theyāre currently selling an american flag version on their website, but I really like the white version more and was wondering if thereās any way it would be added to the website eventually.
If not Iāll probably just buy the american one and display the other side, but I thought Iād at least ask if anyone knows before I spend the money. Thank you !

So I am jealous that US fans get a tour this year and we in the UK only got Download (and, tbh, festivals are a little too much for me these days). So I am hoping for a few gigs I can get to next year.
But I'm struggling to think of many venues. We were blessed in 2023, (two roundhouse gigs and Wolverhampton) but those gigs were in the 3,500 range. Perfect size for a BabyMetal concert - but I think they'll go bigger. But those 10,000 capacity venues are still too big maybe?
I could see them touring AFAS live type venues, the 6,000 range, but there are not many venues like that in the UK.
So I guess it will be a European tour with one or two in the UK (Cardiff and London).
What do you think?

Hello everyone,
So I'm hoping somebody can help me out. I've been seeing pictures of the merch from last night's show in San Diego, and they didn't appear to have any hoodies for sale. I'm seeing Babymetal at Aftershock October 3rd, and looks like my chances are very slim of snagging the one item I really want, considering they've said not everything will be available at the festivals.
I was hoping someone could pick up the "Dark Wanderer" pullover hoodie size L at an upcoming show. I would pay for the full cost of the hoodie, shipping fees, and a $40 tip through PayPal Goods & Services.
Considering Aftershock is their last NA tour date, I don't wanna take any chances of waiting to see if it's there and have it not be.
Please let me know. š¦

Anybody going to the denver show familiar with Ball Arena? I'm going to the show solo and similar to the Intuit Dome setup it's proving hard to plan when and how to get the merch I'd like and store it before the concert. They have bin lockers outside but once you're inside the arena you can't leave to store your stuff and then reenter. Add that with the bag policy I have no idea how I'm going to get my purchases and manage them during the concert.
The customer relations folks said there'll be an outdoor merchandise stall but no idea what they're going to be selling and if it will be all of what was promoted or just part of it. No poster tubes allowed either (which I totally understand) but I was hoping to get one of the posters and I'm worried about it getting crushed during the show.
Anybody have any success in planning this out?
