Yes I have read it and I suppose zero critical skills means I don't agree with you? Child marriages legal in many states so I expect that colours things for you.

The text makes it extremely clear that Humbert is an unreliable narrator and a terrible person.

If you thought he was a hero, then yes, I do question your critical thinking.

ETA: child marriage is not legal anywhere in my country.

It's directly relevant to your false claim that he wasn't American. He was an American citizen living in the US when he wrote it.
