First time
The shop did the ironing. The original photo is a Yue Opera performer and my friend's teacher. I used a 104*104 board and it took me nearly 20hr to finish. Super fun experience tho.

This is a complete swatch list of all current Perler colors that can be purchased individually. Also included: neons, pearls, glow in the darks, an assorted stripe swatch, and purple glitter.
I'm going to start hosting Perler crafting events, so this is a great way for people to be able to see what a color will look like once melted, as well as being able to pair with other colors.

These are my first two creations.
Saiki was my first one and it took me about 30 minutes to iron and it still has crazy holes in it. I used the tape method but didn’t poke holes in the tape so that was my mistake.
For the oogie boogie I got a new iron (since I plan on making a bunch of these before Halloween)
I did poke holes but a couple of the beads still didn’t melt for some reason.
Any tips or advice on how I can get better at this.

When I first tried mini beads there were so many mistakes made. Hot iron. melting my board. Thinking it was done and lifting to paper for the to scatter. I got better overtime. I included a ruined Lovecraft Country I made small and wasted time trying to repair before just doing it using regular sized beads. Now I randomly make earrings for my lady. The mini ALF was the first thing I ever made for her.

I use KandiPad to layout designs and such. Anyone have any idea how long they take to add new bead colors? We haven't really gotten any since I started using that site and their forum looks really.... poorly optimized. I posted there but hadn't heard anything from anyone. Anybody here know?

2 of the sunrays didn’t fuse well and fell off, and my attempt at an angel wing didn’t really pan out but overall happy with my first attempt! Still have to glue a toploader to the back and add a keychain as well!

I just started a month ago and did tons of research, I never understood all the Numbers and Letters corresponding to the templates I use
Today, I checked, out of curiosity, and found a chart for the colors. I am thankful to have a sheet and template with matching bead patterns because I had been doing sprites just by eye balling 240 colors with only 120 colors 😭
And I just found a chart today so I can see a side by side of what I'm missing ❤️

I made this... a little frog ice block (or ice lolly what ever you call it)
And my friend informed me it looks like a frog taking a poo...

This took waaaaay longer than I care to admit to finish, at least in part because the first version I made was chomped to bits by an adorable little puppy dog. But now all three pieces are finally complete, and they've got a lot of neat features. The walkman has a volume dial that actually turns as well as a headphone jack that the earbuds can plug into on the side. The cassette tape has spools that you can really turn to move the tape inside, (I used some thin brown ribbon for that) and I even made the dimensions of it as close to a real cassette as possible.
So the first picture is the front of the whole set, all separately. The second is the side view of the walkman and bottom of the cassette, and the third is the tape in the walkman's tape deck with the headphones plugged in. Anyway, I hope y'all like it! Honestly, at this point, I'm just excited to be able to move on to something else at last.
