I LOLed so hard opening the package and seeing Beavis and Butthead staring back at me.

For reference, I had ordered Italian Job steelbook, Gladiator II, Super 8, Clerks, and Paranormal Activity collection. Not even close.

Started collecting blu-rays in August hoping to gather loads of B-list horrors however it got a bit out of hand, here’s what I got so far.

Also the Mangler, Evil dead Rise, Salems lot, Crawl and Terrifier 1-3 on the way in the post 😆

Got a ikea billy shelf and was able to movie all my DVDs into a better storage spot

I could not find the boxset for the life of me. I've searched HIGH and LOW and decided to give in and just buy the seasons individually. This is Season 2 and i'm patiently waiting for the rest of series to arrive.

I bought this a while ago and was looking forward to watching degeneration again, only to find out both of these discs have the exact same movie on them,and it is not the one I wanted to watch! I have resigned myself to just enjoy the Vendetta movie.

So I have a computer build coming up and I decided to look into disk drives to you know, be able to play some physical media on my computer instead of playing for 15 streaming services. Plus with digital storage being harder and harder to get (thanks AI) being able to burn games onto disks seems like a good idea.

Then I looked at the drives on amazon.

See I was expecting to pay 50, 60 bucks. Reasonable but not too too expensive.

LG's DRIVES ARE GOING FOR 200!

The only "reasonable" ones I'm finding are bootlegs from amazon that I'm not sure work.

So...what gives?

So recently, I ordered my first ever 4K player still in the mail.. I’ll explain that in another post cause the price I got it for will shock you but this was the 4K pick ups for the month of August. I still have three other movies in the mail John Carpenter‘s Halloween, Batman begins and suicide squad. 16 4k added to the collection

"Lot 249", about a mummy resurrected to exact revenge for a nerdy college student.

"Cat From Hell", about a hitman trying to eradicate a homicidal house cat.

And "Lover's Vow", about a down on his luck artist who is spared death from a gargoyle in exchange for a promise of silence.

This anthology horror movie is great, with incredible stories (Lot 249 is the weakest, but all are solid), a neat wraparound and a purposely campy feel.

Based on the TV show of the same name. If you enjoy anthology horror, I highly recommend this one! 🦂🦂🦂½

I’m a big horror fan so I’ll take it, even if it’s definitely not the best movie ever. I will say the clear cover + disc design gives it character lol

I haven't had time to review the movie since I've been away, but today while cleaning out my boxes I noticed a bit of this film I heard that the movie information is much more attached to the side of the sticker.Will it be okay?

Honestly, part of why I jumped on this so fast is the presentation alone. Shout! Factory and GKIDS have been on a ridiculous hot streak with their animation releases, and this one fits right in with my Ghibli ones. The slipcover art pops, the disc layout is clean, and the 4K transfer looks like it was built to show off the chaos of Treasure Town. Tekkonkinkreet’s whole aesthetic thrives on this like San Francisco grunge texture and density, so seeing it in proper UHD is a completely different experience. It’s already sold out pretty much everywhere, so I hope you pre‑ordered; I can’t imagine this getting a massive restock or wide release. Fingers crossed we eventually get MFKZ in 4K too, because this animation style from Studio 4 Degrees Celsius absolutely sings at higher pixel density.

Hi, I'm getting a region free Bluray player so that I can watch Criterion Collection releases (which only come in region A) here in Sweden.

I have recieved a recommendation for an online retailer that offers the following four models - does anyone have any experience with any of these and can recommend or disapprove of any of them?

(I have a PS5 already so UHD functionality is not important for the dedicated Bluray player, it's only a nice-to-have for me.)
