Babble A modern art piece perhaps?
Saw this poor fella the other night somewhere near the centre, was half-tempted to rescue it but it looked too intentional. Maybe there's some subliminal messaging here.

AVOID POTENTIAL SCAMS
Please use caution when buying and selling and beware of scams, we do not take any responsibility and will not be able to help. * Please reply to sellers below even if taking the transaction offline, this verifies you are not banned and provides evidence of the transaction * It is strongly suggested to use PayPal Goods & Services as this comes with Buyer Protection at a small fee. DO NOT USE PAYPAL FRIENDS AND FAMILY * For tickets it is recommended to use legitimate ticket re-sell sites as these protect both the buyer and seller (Some listed below). * If buying directly do your own research, this guide is a good start. Is the users account established with legitimate recent and historic activity, is there a way to validate the tickets before purchasing and are the tickets allowed to be re-sold (transferable).
Re-sell sites: Twickets | Tixel | Stub Hub | See Tickets Fan To Fan

Trigger Warning: Extreme Transphobia.
What happened at the last Bristol City Council meeting was unacceptable. During the session, individuals in the public gallery directed openly transphobic comments toward trans attendees; behaviour that goes against the Council’s own Trans Inclusion and Gender Identity Policy.
This video snippet shows exactly why it’s so important for us to be present. When hate goes unchallenged, it becomes normalised. When we show up, we make it clear that Bristol stands for dignity, respect, and safety for everyone.
If you can, please join us at the next meeting. Your presence matters, the next meeting is on 8th September at 6pm!

Very pleased (and quite proud) to announce that on the 6th September I'm starting a monthly Origami Social in partnership with Bristol Libraries and the British Origami Society (BOS).
Whether you're already a seasoned folder, or just fancy a chill afternoon learning a new skill - please join us in the Café space at Bristol Central Library, College Green, 2pm until 4:30pm every 1st Sunday of the month.
Paper and diagrams will be available, but please feel free to bring your own too.
Looking forward to hopefully seeing some of you there and please do share this poster around with anyone you think would be interested 😊

Between Gloucester services and Bristol there was a warning of an oncoming vehicle twenty minutes ago and signs to slow down to 20mph, Saw hundreds of drivers bombing past us with no regard for the signs, or their own safety.
Fucking stupid.
Anyone know any details?

I recently had a Care Act assessment and the assessment contains an incorrect statement saying that I can walk and use a walking frame.
I have not been able to walk since I was 14. One of my legs does not function properly, I am a wheelchair user, and I do not own or use a walking frame for mobility.
Adult Social Care already has medical evidence about my mobility and disability, so I am very concerned about how this information ended up in the assessment and whether it affected the eligibility decision. They also completed the assessment and made the decision before I had an independent Care Act advocate or any other support to help me participate in the process.
I’m just trying to understand what I should do next. Has anyone had factual inaccuracies in a Care Act assessment corrected or challenged a decision where the assessment did not accurately reflect their disability? Is there a formal process for asking the council to review or reconsider the assessment?

Would you be willing to share the name of the place, if you were happy with the experience, and how much it cost? I am going to call a few places places tomorrow to enquire. Just doing some background research...worried about my boy.

I am looking to get some repairs done on my works mascot costume, the plastic eyes on the costume are scratched, and it could do with a proper clean inside and out. Does anyone have any recommendations for a place in Bristol? 🙏🏼😊

Hi I used to always buy any taps , shower or bath stuff I needed (for my home) at Jones in Montpelier. Is there a good trusted supplier in South Bristol? That has good kit? I need shower tray and enclosure. Nice but not hideously expensive.

Hello! Can anyone recommend affordable van options, moving from Bristol to Manchester, no big furniture but boxes of stuff. I unfortunately do not know how to drive and will probably have to be on the train? Not sure what the right way to do it is? Moving in around 2 weeks time. Also was wondering if it would be possible to move on the weekend Saturday or Sunday? Otherwise will do a work day.
Thank you!

Can anyone recommend a decent damp surveyor that covers South Bristol? Ideally someone who won’t try to sell us an extortionate fix (unless it’s needed!)

Has anyone used a professional carpet cleaner that they’d recommend for a reasonable price? Ideally not looking to spend more than £100 for three rooms.

Missing cat named Ted, he went missing yesterday and still hasn’t come home. He is large and definitely overweight 😅 friendly and has thumbs.
If you see him in the Brislington area or have bought him to a vet please can you message me please 🙏🏻 last seen at ours on Woodside Road
EDIT - HE IS BACK!!! He luckily appeared on a neighbours shed just before I left for work and is now on house arrest! Thank you so much everyone for your help! God, what a weekend! 😮💨 I really appreciate everyone for commenting and getting involved! ❤️❤️

So the buses that used to use the stops on the Horsefair are now using stops around castle park. How's that going? Is there anyone who's experienced it on the ground so far?
Is it going to bedlam tonight?
