Has CR ever done a podcast or talked about the German tv show Dark?
It seems like his kind of television.

By our metrics of activity and active users, reddit suggests that we add some. So I'd love to know in this thread or via DM if you feel like that's necessary. There have a been a few more negatively-toned posts recently, but our community seems to push those down in a reasonable way. However, if anyone feels like more active moderation is needed (or if your reports and such are not being responded to appropriately) please let me know and I can go about adding a couple. Thanks!

It has the most unique perspective of any current show, for better and worse. Cast is great. There is believable camaraderie between them. You have scenes like Cruz, who looks like a supermodel, saying "I ain't forgot shit." It's totally ridiculous in the best way.

What movie would you cast CR in for a cameo role??
Any movie in history aside from heat 1 and 2 are allowed here (cause you'd just chose those ones!)
Also what would his role be?

I know this sub likes to make light of our fondness for the good man, but on a very slightly more serious note:
Would you continue consuming Ringer content without him?
I realized recently that I subscribe to a number of Ringer podcasts but I only listen if CR is on. I like Sean, Bill and Andy when they are with CR, but I don’t really care for their pods when he isn’t on. So, I realized that I basically wouldn’t listen to any Ringer content if he left.
I may be preaching to the choir, but is anyone else the same?

I avoid listening to any Tom Hardy raps, but when I heard that he does the Bane-voice on a track I couldn’t resist, and to my shock- the whole album goes.
Here’s the Bane bop https://open.spotify.com/track/1im3pM4uaHGq9THkBd6xJ4?si=ENXCsicNQ72jRxOGSt3tZQ&utm_source=copy-link

Iguodala over Curry for the 2015 Finals MVP or the fact that Tracy Letts has weaseled his way into the conversation with CR for third chair?

I feel like I'm going crazy because I haven't seen anyone point out the shortcomings of Furious. It's all praise. But the longer the show goes on the sillier and campier it gets. The way many of the men are cartoonishly evil. Ed George, Marshall, the union reps that are fighting for him. Marshall's mother from hell, Alice showing up on the usb drive and the neatness of her life story mirroring Catherines. Alice having a trauma response to showers (!) so of course Catherine gets one over on her in a shower.
And in the last episode, I almost laughed when we saw the daugther roll Jay Easton to his underage sex slave and we learn that the daugther is a facilitating his crimes. It's just too much. It kinda feels like SVU at times.
As great as the show is, it's often not particularly subtle or sophisticated.
Am I being unfair?

My first reddit post here just to marvel at our man's musical taste. He shouted out Idle County, a band with fewer than 2,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and, goddammit, they're so good! Highly recommend them for anyone who's loved the Drive-by Truckers, Son Volt, early Wilco, all that good No Depression shit.
How can one dude have such great taste across music, TV, art, books, movies? It's marvelous! All hail CR during this glorious Year of CR!

CR being a noted hardcore/punk fan after all. Both Converge albums are sick but can't say I've found a lot else to write home about this year
