AMA finished AMA: I'm the Toronto Star's deputy bureau chief. I'm covering the trade war with Trump from Parliament Hill. Ask me anything. September 1, 12 p.m - 1 p.m.
Hi,
My name is Alex Ballingall. I’m the Star’s deputy bureau chief on Parliament Hill, where the trade war with Donald Trump has overtaken everything else on the political agenda.
We’re living through a dramatic moment in our national history, and it’s not yet clear to me where all of this is going. I’d be glad to help talk about the many facets of the situation, as well as whatever you’d like to ask me about the Star’s journalism, federal politics, the Carney government--and anything else. Truly ask me anything.
