Hi there! I'm planning a vacation to Grand Cayman for 3 adults and two elementary kids in April. My budget is capped around $6,000 for 7 nights. I've been looking at some of the condo communities on the side of 7 mile beach that isn't eroded. Looking for calm shallow water, shaded loungers, non-crowded beach front (or uncrowded enough that I don't need to claim a spot at 7am). Would like to snorkle.

Question: I've looked at Plantana and Silver Sands. Any feedback on those (especially Plantana). Other suggestions? Where to get the cheapest bookings?

Careful around Governors beach and in front of Westin another lady got bitten this time it was a bad bite severed a toe ( to be confirmed ) just happened August 24. It happened right by two boats that were right by shore and in front of the Westin lounge chairs closer to Governors beach. May have been hiding under the boats.
