Does anyone else see this as a bit of a conflict of interest? People that can approve or deny zoning approvals all while running a business that can benefit from those decisions. We saw what happened with John Les during his tenure as mayor and his shady land deals.

Hey y’all! I’m with an improv troupe based in Vancouver and we were thinking about coming to Chilliwack to do an October show (an improvised murder mystery).

I haven’t spent a ton of time in Chilliwack personally but wanted to gauge if that kind of a show would be something the city would be receptive to and come out for? We’re a relatively small troupe and still growing so we’d want to make sure there’s a reasonable bet on an idea before attempting it! Haha

I am new to the area and in need of a family doctor. I have a rare disease and have found replacements for my specialists but not one for a central family doctor to manage my case.

BCHealth told me to call their “complex care” team but they said they are full. A couple of my prescriptions are controlled so it’s hard to find walk-in clinics or the like who can help with that.

I have family here but none of them have any leads on clinics accepting patients. I know it’s a long shot but I’m hoping someone here may have one!

I’m being a little cautious about it just since that’s a pretty common scam style.

Anyway. Just a heads up to let people in your family know this scam is going around again. I pressed "record call" so I can file a complaint about the number with the carrier and the moment my phone played the mandatory "This call is being recorded" before recording, it disconnected soooo that's apparently a thing you can teach your parents and grandparents to determine if a call is a scam or not.

I see this park has a farm in the middle of it, on an island. Does anyone know if the entire island is part of the park? the listing on bc parks is very brief. Even the parking lot if you can call it that, requires you to cross the CN line to access the park.
