Not trying to start drama or call anyone out — genuinely just hoping someone local can
help put my mind at ease (or confirm a real concern).

There's a video from the Soda City Simpson YouTube channel posted in July, "They
Refused to Let Us Help, So We Changed Their Lives Without Asking," where the team
helps a woman named Shirley (somewhere above Five Points, exact area unclear) and
gives her a rescue dog named Rustler, nicknamed Debo. In the video Shirley mentions
her previous dog died while tied up outside near a tree stump, possibly poisoned.

A lot of the comments on the video (some with 50-150+ likes) are worried the new dog
might end up in the same situation — left chained outside for long stretches, in a
household that may not have the resources to feed/vet a large dog properly. There's
been no follow-up from the channel addressing any of this.

I'm not local to Columbia, so I can't check myself. If anyone recognizes the family,
the neighborhood, or has any way of finding out whether Rustler is doing okay, I'd
really appreciate it. Not trying to accuse anyone of anything — just want to make sure
the dog, Rustler, is actually safe.

Hello all I am currently seeking a 3+ bedroom home to rent in the Columbia area. My circumstances make it difficult to seek out traditional routes so I figured I’d give this a shot. I am currently going through a divorce which has tanked my credit score but I have a steady $120k+ income, no evictions, criminal history, etc. I am also a homeowner and will most certainly take good care of any property rented to me. it's been going down for like 30 mins now, it's pretty bonkers. i don't think i've ever seen something like this before. i've seen big groups of sparrows fly around, but this is a MASSIVE sustained swarm. i don't think my camera even does it justice. crazy.
