San Marzano tomatoes are back!
My Costco (Midwest region) has the real authentic San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes in stock again! I bought 3 packs of 3 cans and I'll probably go back for more. I had asked this subreddit a few months ago if we'd ever see them again, and now my dreams have come true (ok, that's a little strong, but these are really good). Hope your Costco has them too.

This may not matter to you, but from what I’ve read - Cento’s "Certified San Marzano" tomatoes are NOT officially D.O.P. certified by the Italian consortium.
Instead, Cento uses their own third-party European certifier, which has resulted in class-action lawsuits Cento Fine Foods Sued Over 'Certified San Marzano' Tomato Labeling.
