He's a real life Indiana Jones. He loves everything about his job and it shows. I wish nothing but good things for him and his team.

Dude literally turned a degree in Archeology and Theater into his dream job, and funds actual scientists doing incredible things and tells us all about them. How incredible is that?

It's a fair "critique" that a lot of the shows he works on are entertainment first, but all things considered they wouldn't reach anyone near the same size of audience if they weren't.

I actually watch the shows he makes I don't like just because I'm pretty sure if people didn't, they wouldn't fund the stuff I find fascinating. I liked Exhibition X when the science was more rigorous, but clearly that didn't sell as well, and I still watch it just to make sure his team has the numbers they need.

Highly recommend his book as well. It’s great and really funny
