You'd have to see how the Norwegians intended since they invented salmon sushi in the 90s.

The traditions of sushi were already there, they just popularized a new ingredient

Nah, the Norwegian government literally hired someone to go over there and introduce sushi to them. Not simply just an ingredient.

You're saying Norwegians introduced sushi...to Japan?

The salmon roll? Yes.

Makizushi already existed and was popular. All Norway did was popularize Salmon, which used to be avoided because it was considered too susceptible to parasites

The modern form of sushi is believed to have been created by Hanaya Yohei , who invented nigiri-zushi , the most commonly recognized type today, in which seafood is placed on hand-pressed, vinegared rice. This innovation occurred around 1824 in the Edo period (1603–1867). It was the fast food of the chōnin class in the Edo period. [2 ] [3 ] [4 ]

salmon sushi? that's like saying eel sushi is something different, or cucumber natto sushi, or whatever else they use to make sushi . Yes one ingrediënt is different, it doesn't mean Norway invented sushi lmao.

Salmon sushi isnt traditional. Thats it. If folks eat it a different way then it doesnt automatically make them savages.

It is not traditional sushi.

It's traditional sushi in everything but use of salmon, the only reason for this being that salmon available in Japan had to be cooked due to parasites. The only thing Norwegians did is convince the Japanese supply chain that their farmed salmon is parasite free and safe to use for sushi.
