But is a native reservation school tied to a religion like a Catholic school? Being native is an ethnicity, not a religion, and there are also non-natives on reservations.

Catholic schools don’t have religious freedom because of religion lol, they have it because they’re private so they don’t have to follow public school regulations. It’s similar with schools on reservations, they have their own bureau of education.
