Right? Ask permission, don’t proselytize, and even if a person doesn’t share the belief it just means “We care about people outside of our little bubble.”
Accept it or don’t, but at least try to understand the intention with which it was given.
Exactly. I have religious friends and have had very enlightening conversions with priests, gurus and imams. We often politely disagree but all of our lives are more fullfilled and interesting for having known eachother. They are also reasonable and against religion being used to opress other people so we talk discuss ideas and beliefs but do not care to influence each other
