They were deemed savages because of tribal warfare, forced sexual slavery, other slavery and hacking peoples skin off. They were murdering and enslaving each other long before the Europeans got here

What did that have to do with why Indians were deemed savage?

they were not savages, they had a writing system, massive farming and a larger city than london itself at the time population wise.

And they fought wars, slaughtered each other and took women as sex slaves and skinned people alive. That's savage

yes, the french killed thousands that weren't christians, within european history there were countless atrocities, with millions dead, you're right to point that out. The Vikings took sex slaves from the british and surrounding german /algo-saxon villages. You are right.

Then you also had wars that lasted 100 years in China..

Also they found like 500 skeletons in the desert once in Mexico.. lol.

What did any of that have to do with native Americans and why they were called savage?

My entire point is that Native Americans were not called savage because they lived of the land. That is a false statement, everyone lived off the land in North America at the time.

They were called savages for skinning people alive and kidnapping women for sex slaves.

Sure lots of other people did to, but that had nothing to do with the native Americans being called savages? Why do you keep bringing widely known information that has nothing to do with why they were called savages? Are you just not able to comprehend what you read? Are you a bot?

Oh so Europeans didn't have slaves or war? they didn't mutilate the living and dead using torture?

They just arrived in the new world as enlightened people who never did any of that stuff....nope....never happened, they just brought Christianity and saved everyone and everyone was happy.

Are you just making up stuff or is this whataboutism?

I never said anything about Europeans and slavery. You stated that the indigenous people were deemed savages andgave a false reason for why. I was explaining why they were deemed savages. Do you have something to say about my comment or are you arguing with an invisible person?

Your comment implies that Europeans didn't do the exact same stuff native americans did, my argument was calling them savages was wrong then and is wrong now

Calling them savages for being a murderous war like people isn't wrong.

Everyone lived off the land back then. No one came anyone a savage for living of the land. They called people savages for raping torturing murdering and enslaving people.

Any people who behave like savages should be called savages.

An American today who rapes tortures and kills is still cake a savage today.
