Here's the S2 vs PS5 comparison.
Obviously there's a difference but it's not immensely huge and nothing deal-breaking. Considering the S2 is a handheld.
I tested both campaign and multiplayer mode on the S2 and I think campaign looks really nice. I don't notice it's "only" running 30fps at all. Visually it looks really nice.
In the multiplayer mode in some maps there are some rough parts, especially in the larger "ground war" maps. But my favorite modes "mosh pit" look good.
I was surprised to see how much hate this beta has gotten from Switch 2 community. Usually we are much easier to satisfy. I mean I myself am completely happy to play games like the recently released remastered MGS4 version which is from almost 20 years ago but still looks fine in HD quality and because it's a great franchise. I don't always need the most visually stunning game as long as it's fun and has either good story or good gameplay.
And here with COD because we can compare it to PS5/pro and PC versions maybe the expectations are much higher.
When I read all the negative comments from the S2 community on reddit I was expecting the COD beta to look like complete dog poo and I mean the worst of the worst. But no it's not like that at all. Like I said, especially the campaign version looks really nice and it's really in most cases on par with games like RE9 Requiem. At least in the Raccoon city parts.
Will be interesting to see what DF says once they do a comparison of the S2 vs PS5/ PC versions.
