Photo My bumper was completely covered in these rock chips. How did I do?
I just got the car and it had millions of these tiny little white rock chips on the bumper and then someone backed into me less than 30 minutes after buying the car. My plan was to just get a new bumper but I figured I could at least give it a shot and see if I could fix it first. I did it by brushing on a can of color matched spray paint and then wet sanding it and buffing it. Very pleased with how it turned out for my first time ever doing anything like this

Question Need help
Need some help from some experts recently got a body kit painted for my vehicle, but the little wings on the side skirt rear won’t adhere using 3M and I really don’t wanna have to take the paint off to use panel bond. Any suggestions here on how to properly bond this to my vehicle?

Project New whip (accident damaged!)
This week's job is my Mercedes b200, bent wing, bent strut, bumper damage, underbody shield smashed, had to tig the wing up as it had a tear in it. Alloy wing! Currently on with the filler work, then have it to prime and paint and fit back up. Waiting on a strut. Usual case waiting for parts 😫..

Question Rust repair
I know the optimal way to repair rust is to cut the metal out and replace but I am looking for the second best method. I have a 2013 Honda Accord rusting out by the rocker panel by the rear wheel. Do rust encapsulaters? Any other suggestions? TIA

Question 2012 Camry back bumper keeps coming unclipped. glue/tape failed.
Hi everyone,
Looking for some advice on how to fix a loose/hanging rear bumper cover on my 2012 Toyota Camry.
The corner/side of the rear bumper is separating and hanging off. When I push it in by hand, it feels like it wants to click into place, but as soon as I drive the car, the vibration and air tension cause it to pop back out. What I’ve Tried So Far
Manual Reset: Followed this [YouTube video](https://youtu.be/Yx-qA3Qbbbk) guide to try pushing/snapping it back into the side retainer clips.
Adhesives: Cleaned the surface and applied [Gorilla Glue](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07W6C9R4K) (waterproof) combined with Krazy Glue in spots for a fast initial set.
Clamping/Holding: Taped the bumper flush using heavy-duty duct tape and let it cure overnight.
The next morning, the bumper looked flush while parked. However, as soon as I took it out for a drive, the bond failed completely and the bumper popped back out. Questions for the Sub:
Did the adhesive fail because of the plastic type?
What is the proper fix here?
(Photos attached showing the gap after my attempt, as well as the inner side lip where the tabs meet the bracket).
Thanks in advance for any insights!

Should I replace the bumper retainer bracket/clips? (Could the plastic tabs on the bumper or the bracket under the quarter panel be sheared/worn off?)

Question Clear coat is cloudy but feels completely smooth. What’s my best move?
Hey everyone I’m trying to figure out what to do with this patchy cloudiness showing up on my car.
It actually feels completely smooth when I run my finger over it so it isn't flaking or peeling. I tried doing a cut and polish on it which made it look shiny.
It doesn't bother me on my new (to me) car but I really want to keep it from getting any worse. Does this look like the clear coat is failing from the inside?

Question DIY buff out/touch up paint, detailer, or body shop?
To the best of my knowledge, this happened by someone backing out at the wrong angle and swiping my car. There is no denting, but white paint or abrasion (I can’t really tell) on my cladding and fender ridge, as well as a couple small chips taken out. The third pic I’ve outlined the scraping in red, and the chips in green. Is this a diy, a detail job, or body shop territory? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Project Any suggestion before I start cutting stuff up
This is DIY Project of mine for 2 years now, the theme is turning it into AE92 4 Door "Trueno", finally found a pair of JDM taillight for it.
I would to hear your suggestion on how you would do this, 3rd photo is what it should look like, notice the differences in boot line opening ( ‾‾‾‾‾‾ vs ‾⎸_⎹‾ ).
the taillight match the original (4th pic) in curvature but its longer and shorter in height.
My idea is to :
1) Add material to hide the gap from above the taillight
2) Cut a square section of the boot that are obstructing the taillight so the boot line would shift closer to the right of the new taillight

Question 2026 Hyundai sonata damage question
Hey guys, I recently hit a curb going about 10mph and found some damage on the lower right lip of my bumper and I was just wondering if I have to replace the entire front bumper or if I can just replace that specific part or if it’s even worth fixing at all considering it drives completely normally.
