Does this bother anyone else?

I really like Coach Mode in CFB 27, but I hate that in Dynasty it feels like you have to choose between playing the entire game in Coach Mode or not using it at all.

I would love to be able to Coach Mode one side of the ball and actually play the other. For example, I might want to call my offensive plays and let my players execute them in Coach Mode, then when we go on defense, turn Coach Mode off and control the defense myself. Or do the exact opposite.

It seems like you can change this during a Play Now game, so I don’t really understand why Dynasty locks you into whatever setting you chose before the game.
It would also be awesome for immersion if you’re trying to play more like a coordinator. Want to be an OC? Coach the offense and let the defense play out. Want to be a DC? Do the opposite.

This is happening quite a bit. I don't know if I'm holding the snap button or if it's a bug, but it sure burns my biscuits when it happens and totally destroy's immersion. Not to mention the drive.

Edit for clarification: I called a trap play, obvious 3rd and inches call, not to mention it had worked all game.

After the last round of patches to the game and dynasty last week I started a new dynasty but heard there will be a second round of patches to fix recruiting /NIL/ect, not to mention general gameplay so I only got around to week 0 and went back to my original dynasty. Did anyone start a new dynasty after this last round or are y’all waiting a few more weeks for the new patches and fixes to come out? Just wanted some feedback from anyone elae

Nothing you can do but laugh at how bad it is.

I understand how to unlock specific team playbooks, I spent forever grinding Air Force (and man is that a fun playbook) but there’s lots of option and power running plays that aren’t in any other playbooks but the generic ones. Is it possible to unlock those playbooks for online play? Google can’t seem to give me a straight answer and just points me to team specific option playbooks. Thanks

Edit: has anyone had an issue where you select your custom playbook and the game just resets to the default? It happened 3 straight games for me

You can clearly see I'm on the Left Edge page, and yet it has Right Edge players starting. This is what it goes to when I hit auto reorder. It did the same thing to my O-line as well.

Edge is the only position I have to force myself to patient at. But animations like this were even when you clearly beat the tackle. You can get glitched forced animations is foul.

Seems to happen when I press but a safety will have the assignment of a tight end for instance and just blitz instead of staying with his assignment. I think I’ve seen linebackers and even corners do this as well recently and it’s frustrating. Is this happening to anyone else?

My DT#91 tackles the rb after a fake handoff but since it was a screen/pass to the rb and the qb threw it to him(on the ground😔) my dt got pass interference penalty. I thought it wasnt a penalty to tackle the rb on PA etc…do i just not know the rules?

I’m just now getting into 26 and I haven’t moved to 27 yet but does it fix some of the dumb tedious things? My biggest complaint with the first two is that it seems like they had nobody sit down and play lots of dynasty. Why does it take so long to remove recruiting actions and why is there a pop up for every single time I manually upgrade and why does the music thing pop up and cover deal breakers?? Why can’t it automatically select the correct pitch when I know all the right ones?

He is not a pure runner EA🤦‍♂️ them having him at that archetype ruins playing with him... can't even complete a pass on the run

Been messing with Team Builder in the offseason and got a little carried away. These are all original pro football team concepts, also make a lot of irl high-schools for CFB.

The plaid one took the longest by far. Getting the pattern to line up across the jersey and the pants without it looking stretched was way harder than it should have been. However I the longer and more interesting they get, the more fun it is to make.

These are obviously just a few uniforms of the many I could make for one team. But just wanted to show these off. The idea is to make a franchise all custom teams.

To me this would be one of the easiest YoY (disappearing recruits being an example that is probably much more difficult) problems to fix. Why has it been 3 years and I still can’t set formation subs for my playbook and I can’t set the order of the playbook (why in the world would onside kick be my default; have wasted so many TOs due to this)

Year 2036, still with LSU because no coaches will ever get fired or retire, apparently. Anyways, I had 20 5-star and 10 4-star Gem high school seniors. Then with the 5 spots I had left, I signed the top 5 5-star transfers, honestly just to see if it was possible. It really must not be. Have any of you seen a class get a 300?

I do pretty long term dynasties, i like having injuries just to keep things realistic, but the wear and tear is so busted i just have decided to turn it off, whats a good spot for the injury slider to be at if wear and tear is off? or if you have wear and tear sliders that make it more realistic than my rb1 being crippled after a week, that would be great too!!

We have an Online Dynasty using TeamBuilder teams, and a few users wanted to update their teams after finishing our season (this was ~2 weeks ago), but it kept failing to load our team updates when we tried to do so during the offseason.

I heard EA fixed the feature - is that true?
