Looking for any input from those that have tried both the Jay material wheels and Piro performance wheels. I am very bias towards softer compounds and urethane wheels but I’m very intrigued seeing the way the Jay material wears after use. Never tried Piros either so would like to see if any of yall have experience with both and which ones are preferred.

Who makes the best grip tape? I got this really cool raw rolling papers fingerboard and I need to get some grip tape for it. It came with sandpaper, grip tape. Can someone explain to me why we use foam over sandpaper? Sorry I’m new to all of this.

Even though I was just at Slushcult this weekend I don’t not purchase these there lol a few weeks ago I snagged half these boards from the slushcult site and the other half from the dial*69 site!

I was made aware of Dial*69 months ago while watching the big spin podcast and immediately loved the hilarious graphics that they had. I knew that I would potentially be getting some decks for the collection.

I ended up getting 7 boards and 5 of those boards were the Bum shape in 35.69mm. It’s funny getting actual griptape with these boards rather than foam grip. I hope slush god continues to have fun with the graphics and overall with this brand in general.

Until now i just had TechDecks. Been fingerboarding on and off since im 8 or 9 yrs old. Now im 32 and thought to treat myself with a better board. It feels totally different!

Need to get some matching wheels and bushings but love how clean and simple the deck looks

Just started trying really hard to learn an Ollie with my old boards a few days ago. Feel like it’s going well. Was frustrating at first, but it’s paying off. Made this little ramp today. I’d like to add a railing down the middle out of wood.

I’m getting a tiny bit better board tomorrow afternoon. (Still sorta cheap cause I can’t afford something like Teak Tuning.) Ordered a brand called YILUYUANLANOPR on Amazon. It was only $10 but it was wooden, and the wheels had bearings in them, so already way better than my teck decks haha.

Do the expense cost of premium parts actually make a difference or is it just a over priced cash grab
