This 13 year old camera produces images unlike any I have ever seen. Maybe this is the X-Trans Sensor hitting me like a truck, but I have NEVER seen a camera produce such soft natural images, with that amount of detail and sharpness.

Heck, it's 16MP! That's 10 million pixels less, then what my work camera is and yet it feels more detailed and alive.

The low mega pixel count also made me appreciate the composition from afar more, instead of having the urge to zoom in all the time.

Not to mention, that I somehow made my perfect film recipe on my first try. I love this thing. It's SOOO much fun. An the form factor will let me have this be my daily camera for a long time.

This is also my first Fujifilm. I was tempted to rebuy a Sony A7 ii again, since it's really small, but I'm so glad that I didn't. I am missing Ibis bit, but I will manage.

Do you think I'm overreacting? I feel like not having a de-bayering filter should not make such a huge difference, but perhaps I'm wrong. I truly have never seen this soft and yet not soft of an image before. Coupled with the incredibly fun body, it's so nice to use.

Fujifilm X-T50 & Viltrox 25mm

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a gorgeous Fujifilm X-Pro2 Graphite Edition.
it’s an absolute masterpiece, and I know I have a truly fantastic camera sitting right there.
The problem? Life got busy, and I barely have any time to go out and shoot. Because of its size, I rarely find myself taking it anywhere with me. Now, i feel like I made a mistake. I keep thinking that I would have been much better off with a Ricoh GR, which I could just slip into my pocket and carry everywhere.
Right now, it’s mostly just sitting on my shelf. Part of me feels guilty for spending the money on something I'm not using, but another part of me, loves just looking at it because it’s such an iconic piece of gear.
Has anyone else gone through this dilemma? Did you end up selling it?
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Spent this weekend in Sydney for the 2026 Sydney Marathon. Had a couple of days before and after the race to walk around with the camera and put my new Thypoch Ksana 21mm lens to the test. Photos shot with a Nostalgic Neg base recipe with a few tweaks in Lightroom.

I think we need more telephoto lenses in the X-mount. Right now, the options are slow zooms like the 70-300 and 150-600 or high end stuff like the amazing 100-400 and the big, white primes - 200mm F/2 and 500mm F/5.6.

I'd love to see more lenses in the middle, preferably smaller, lighter and less expensive primes. 135mm F/2 or F/2.8, 200mm F/2.8 and 300mm F/4 would make a good set.

There's nothing wrong with the choices we currently have, mind. The 70-300 is a great travel lens and the 150-600 is great for birding. It would just be great to have some more options for those of us who want a bit more light gathering without selling a kidney (or both). If you want to do that now, then adapting Canon EF or Nikon F lenses is the only way.

I just picked the x100VI for this trip. I wanted to share a few. Feedback is welcome.

This camera is a lot of fun and i’m still trying to figure out the exposure triangle and the use of recipes.

But so much more fun than my phone!

Taken on a Fujifilm XT-5, using a Fujifilm XF70-300mm f4-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens and 2 ND 1,000 filters.

Photos were taken Raw and edited post before being spliced together; unfortunately, due to low haze/strat clouds, it was difficult to capture the 'glow' of the sun and will require a bit more editing.

Fujifilm reignited my passion for photography about 10 years ago. Starting with the X-T1 and followed by the X-T2, X100 iv, X-Pro3 and now my trusted X-H2. All pics taken with the XF 16-80mm f/4. My XF 33mm f/1.4 and Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 stayed in the bag.

由於當初確實怕不太理解raw檔如何編輯，因此避而遠之。但就在這幾天不知道為什麼還是下定決心要好好學習如何編輯raw,雖然我認為更重要的是前期工作 是要在拍攝當下就找到好的鏡位操心感受等…（這點我也依舊需要學習）雖然目前玩的心態大於認真的心態，不過開心已經最重要😊

Because I was really afraid that I didn't understand how to edit raw files at the beginning, I avoided it. But in the past few days, I don't know why I made up my mind to learn how to edit raw, although I think it's more important to find a good mirror position at the moment of shooting, worry about feelings, etc. (I still need to learn this point) Although the current mentality of playing is greater than the serious mentality, happiness is the most important thing 😊
