True. I remember playing black ops 3 back in the day and for some reason I had to hold l3 to sprint, absolutely killed my hand 😭

What are you on about. This is just normal wear and tear. When you play cod it requires you to press l3, and r3 a lot especially in multiplayer just it puts more wear and tear on those sticks which can lead to stick drift and button not working properly

Nope it probably wasn’t broken. That was a setting option in the game. Either toggle or hold to sprint

That's because there's a setting called toggle sprint that you probably needed

I think it’s a setting in the options, my friend still plays black ops 3 and he asked me to play for him while he went to the restroom. To my surprise, I had to hold in the joystick to run, on a basically brand new 8bitdo ultimate 2 (plays on pc).

Try playing Black Ops 6 with the Omni movement. Good lord, I went through 2 joysticks on two different controllers.

Bro you could’ve put “toggle sprint on” and you would just have to click it once to sprint 😭
