Bonjour à tous, je tente ma chance ici. J'essaie d'aider ma fille de 19 ans à trouver un emploi à temps partiel. Elle est actuellement en deuxième année de cégep au Félix-Leclerc.

Elle travaille depuis l'âge de 14 ans : elle a travaillé chez Subway pendant un an, puis dans une très grande salle de sport pendant deux ans et pour une œuvre de charité l'année dernière. Elle possède deux lettres de recommandation.

Je pense que nous avons compromis ses chances de trouver un emploi d'été cette année en l'emmenant en long voyage en plein été.

Elle est parfaitement bilingue, parle aussi un peu espagnol et apprend actuellement une quatrième langue. Nous consultons régulièrement le site de Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi, le site Emploi de la Ville de Gatineau et des plateformes d'emploi comme Indeed et autres.

Je cherche des idées. Elle a déjà passé une douzaine d'entrevues et, la plupart du temps, les employeurs ne donnent même pas de nouvelles. C'est extrêmement frustrant.

Toute aide serait appréciée.

Pouvez-vous me dire pourquoi il y a autant de police a cette intersection? Moi j'arrive de Gatineau pour aller au anytime fitness au coin et il y a toujours 2-3 voitures de police et au moins 1 personne arrêtée, des coups de cochons a l'intersection? Je comprend que c'est une intersection avec beaucoup de traffic, mais je suis curieux de ce que le monde essai de faire pour mériter tant de police.

I left my cat in the care of a family friend for about 2 weeks while I was abroad, came back to the poor thing limping and in incredible pain. I was not made aware of this at all and was under the impression my cat was doing very well. Apparently he had been limping for a week by then...

Long story short my cat has a fracture right on the hip joint and I've been quoted 6-8k for the surgery (I think it's called a Femoral Head Ostectomy). Does anyone know of any pet hospitals that charge less than that? I want to do right by my cat, but I just can't afford this quote. I'm doing my best researching my options and I am willing to drive anywhere if necessary. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Mon association de quartier plannifie une fête d'automne sous le thème Western au mois d'octobre. Sous ce thème on aimerait ajouter un atelier/activité pour faire du Lasso mais je ne trouve pas de compagnie qui donne ce type d'activités.

Je fais donc appel à la communauté de Gatineau et les environs pour voir s'il n'y aurait pas quelqu'un qui connait soit une compagnie ou des personnes qui s'y connaissent et aimerait venir nous aider à animer notre fête pour les petits et grands.

Our neighbourhood association is planning a Western-themed Fall Festival this October. As part of the theme, we would like to include a lasso workshop/activity, but I have not been able to find a company that offers this type of entertainment.

I am therefore reaching out to the Gatineau and surrounding area community to see if anyone knows of a company or individuals with experience in lassoing who would be interested in helping us bring this activity to life and entertain both children and adults at our event.

We’ve visited Gatineau Park several times now the past four years or so. From Eastern Ontario. The park is beautiful and it keeps drawing us back for hikes and sightseeing. Every time we cross over the Ottawa River the roads all turn to shit. Feels like our vehicle is getting destroyed. Every road is the same. Horrible. Bounce, clunk and bang. I can’t imagine towing our travel trailer, it would be literally destroyed in one trip. You guys living tax free or what? If you are paying taxes then it’s time to riot for some road repair. It’s ridiculous.

I recently underwent surgery and I cant walk very far.

I pulled up to the maxi in the plateau yesterday and all the parking spots were occupied for the grocery pickup.

Of all the cars parked there, only 2 of them had actual passengers inside waiting for their grocery. I also saw two mid 20s looking rich girls park in the number 1 spot and go into the store.

My app wasn't working and I wasn't able to see the phone number on the sign to call an associate and the main store number wasnt picking up so it was pretty frustrating.

There’s a popular concept called “Shopping Cart Theory” where returning your cart is seen as a small test of whether you’ll do the considerate thing when nobody is forcing you to. I think grocery pickup parking is similar. If you’re perfectly capable of walking into the store, why take a designated spot from someone?

I’m looking at renting a new place, and some of the Brigil buildings are offering 9 months free for signing a lease. Has anyone taken advantage of this and what’s the catch?

Looking to get an EV charger installed. I have the charger and breaker already, just need someone to run approx 11-12 metres of teck cable from the panel to the charger and do the terminations.
