Yesterday, we hit the road at 9 AM and traversed up to Cle Elum then navigated surface streets through Ellensberg, Canyon Road and over to Yakima. Stopped for lunch. Then continued through to Chinook Pass and into Mount Rainier National Park and ending back near Seattle. What a stunning ride. I’m ready to do it all over again right now!

Picked up a project car today. Finally back in a manual and I can’t be happier. His name is Gears (from transformers G1). 2003 Subaru Baja Sport. Once I get it in good running order, the plan is a cross between a Wilderness and STi build.

I also really love the whole 'not tracking my every move through a computer' thing and it only having a basic stale 2015 style radio with a vary poor quality backup camera. Powered windows but zero tech in the seats and vary basic in every other measure, i love it.

After getting both hips replaced, this summer dragged. Finally got to a point I could get some work done on the Bullitt.

Euro taillights, SPE XF1 mid-pipe, Rodak Garage Vintage Shift Knob, transmission & differential fluid change, windshield washer nozzles replaced, and a down stream o2 sensor replacement.

Glad I’m not looking at parts in the garage anymore.

Even though I'm too young to remember the show this is so fucking cool. How often does something like this come in for an oil change?!?!

I formerly had a 2024 LR Defender P300 S in Habuka Silver. Now I have upgraded to a 2026 P400 X Dynamic SE in Santorini Black Metallic. I had LR to take the KO3 tires off my former Defender and swap them to the new one, because I had just purchased the tires about three months ago, and I didn’t like the OEM tires that LR furnished on the new unit. $11k off the sticker price.

Big fan of the UZ platform so I’ve managed to collect a decent amount of them so far & I’ve loved each one deeply.

1997 Lexus LS400 “silver surfer” (no longer own but had 257k miles when I sold it)

2005 Lexus LS430 UL (I loved the is car but someone offered a price I couldn’t refuse at 150k miles)

1996 Lexus LS400 coach edition (came with the coach bags and everything but got totaled at 207k miles)

2000 Lexus LS400 platinum edition (current project car, 200k miles and I’m currently replacing the brake booster and valve cover gaskets while waiting on paint)
