Final post regarding das finale 5 speculations for now. Now I will zoom into the scene and gather as much detail as possible.

Azumi and Rumi are seen bringing beer cans. I wonder if they were okay with Alice leaving for St. Gloriana, but seems like they're fine.

Also Megumi is not seen here. She could be just simply out of frame, but I have a feeling there is a chance of her getting left out entirely due to the Bermuda trio getting potential speaking lines but her Voice Actress being unavailable unfortunately(Even if Megumi got a substitue VA in mllsd, Mizushima doesn't seem to be okay with using substitues as he made Megumi and Wallaby too who shares the same VA entirely mute in recent videos)

To the right we see Waterzooi getting petted by some children, and Yukari's parents hetting interested about the dog.

Passing the stairs there are students from Neutral High, including Senjyu who got to appear in the last bonus OVA.

moving to the next row, we see Hana's mother Yuri, and her servant Shinzaburo. Seems like Yuri was saying something. to the right, there are Tokata and Baba, the two delinquents from the underground of Oarai. They seem to be having a discord with the older men sitting next who are here to cheer.

moving up, there are Azul's students. Only El, Viridiana, Tristana are here and unfortunately there are no signs of the faceless Andalusia.

Then next to there are the captains from the lesser known schools(who got their spotlights in Taicho war). Eclair(who btw is the only manga original character to become canon so far), Sofia, Yuko, Kebiko are present. Kebiko is just staring with empty eyes while it seems like Sofia and Yuko are having a talk,(potential VA joke since they are both voiced by the same person) Eclair is looking forward. She's by herself.

Maiko(Bonple's captain) is unfortunately not here. I have a feeling that she could get a scene meeting with Assam if lucky(since her new character bio mentions her being good friends with Assam), but at worst she(and Bonple's representation) could be excluded entirely. she(and Bonple's representation) could be excluded entirely.

other than that we can see oarai and gloraina's cheerleeding team. Gloriana's are playing bagpipes like the Scottish.(I doubt this is an actual reference to Earl Grey in Saga of Pravda but it's funny to see bagpipes somehow)

And here we have Belle, Jane from the Agricultural department, encountering with the Koala forest reps. Seems like captain Koala grew attatchment on Jane, and Wallaby is trying to take the Koala off of her.(Potential material for mllsd episode I guess) This also unfortunately debunks the fantheories of Belle and Jane joining as the 10th team, however then it also brings the question of, then why did das finale 5 bring daikon war's lore in and have the student council explore there when it seems like there won't be any big discovery nor new team. We'll have to see about that in the movie.

There is also a family of three(mother, father, young daughter) who are potentially Saori's family members as they match the known information, and also the mother looking suspiciously a lot like Saori adds the fuel to the fire.(besides them being next to Mako's grandmother, someone they possibly know each other) If they are really Saori's family, then one of gup's longest mysteries get solved after 14 years, as well as every (alive) family member of Angler fish team getting revealed.

Lastly, somehow looks like Renta, however all of his past appearances had him wear his full charcoal suit, but the man in the image doesn't. so it could be just another lookalike like in das finale 1.

And that is it for now. Considering that Mizushima said there will be more new characters, let's hope there will be more characters revealed this time.

Something tell me these three might be Saori’s Family…

Oh, here is one more posts I forgot.

Fig.1: Maho is back! She was already confirmed to return in the previous trailer, but this shows that she returned to Japan a few days in advance, and is staying in the Nishizumi manor. Pic shows her wearing pink pajamas, and her soft expression suggests this is likely a scene showing her in a video call with Miho.

Fig.2: the ceremony before the final match's beginning. Planes are flying above, but you can notice something bigger...

Fig.3: There is an enormous object that looks like a Tortoise.

Unfortunately if that is really the Tortoise Gloriana acquired, it is likely that it won't be used during the actual match like Chihatan's O-I.

However, the scale inside the image is kind of odd. Judging the parking spaces, the Tortoise is too big and out of scale even for a super heavy. (Japanese parking lots are about 2.5 meters wide. The tortoise's width is under 4 meters but that one is roughly 3 spaces wide(about 7 meters minimum), exceeding the actual width. The height and width are off too.) There could be a chance that the Tortoise in the parking lot is not the actual tank and red herring for the trailer. Since GuP is full of twists I'd say it would be safe to wait until the movie comes out.

Fig.3: Crusaders speeding up. I'l discuss this in a prediction post, but its likely from the earlier scenes where the crusaders are heading first for the bridge.

Fig.4~5: Oarai tanks retreating from the bridge. Notice there is a damaged wheel on the ground. It is possible a Crusader roadwheel considering the geometry and thin rubber tires.

Fig.6: Momo likely acting like a captain for the finals. Probably during the early scenes.(it is implied that she becomes a gunner again mid march after switching seats with Anzu)

Fig.7: Darjeeling and Assam inside the Churchill. Orange Pekoe is likely absent since she is implied to have received a tank of her own.(wonder if the new substitute loader will be revealed or Darjeeling herself will even load shells)

Fig. 8: Shark team next to a makeshift fireplace. Location seems to be outside the garage.

Fig.9: Rosehip in action. The background suggests this is the docks, possibly later during the match in das finale 5.

The group is eating at a new location. We have seen Saori dorm room before in Anzio OVA however this location is a household.

There is a rice pot right next to Saori. It is traditionally for the host of a household to serve the rice.

Lastly, we have yet to see Saori's family so far yet in the same preview we see a group and one of them resembles Saori.

As of now, I don't know which flair to tag it under, so it's discussion for now. Never mind.

I also want to share this announcement to all Minnesota GuP fans. The new and improved Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum will be opening on September 11 in Little Falls, MN.

Fig.21: Azusa seen on the Me with other teams. This is possibly connected with the scene showing all 9 tanks of Oarai trapped in the docks continued from the previous trailer.

Fig.22: Shows Piyotan and Momoga on top of their tanks under the bridge. Likely during the final scenes, and connected to the next scene.

Fig.23: Shows the tanks of Oarai firing at once towards somewhere. Shark team is only giving a lift for Leopon team's heavy tank(also carbon coating, son) and Mallard team is giving a lift for Hippo team's stug.(Makes sense for tanks with lesser firepower to help the ones with a better gun) Notice that only Turtle Team's Hetzer is absent.

Fig.24-26: Duck team gets ambushed near the docks. The shot seems to be powerful than a 2-pdr or 6-pdr, so I doubt it's rosehip or Rukuriri behind thst wall. The reveal scene could be a reference to the T28(could it be the tortoise?), but the trailer doesnt show.

Fig. 27: Ogin Sprinting towards the top of the arch during the bridge battle. This scene possible leads to a the telescope view from above showing Darjeeling's infantry tanks approaching in the previous trailer (see last image for that)

Fig. 28, 31 are likely from the same sequence. Shows Anglerfish team in some place togethet eating dinner. Likely continuing the events they did in the 1st TV season.

Fig.29 and 30 are ones I'd like to discuss regarding the garage scenes. This one shows Momo, Miho, Saori, Hana, Yukari visiting a place despite heavy rain and muddy terrain. The background shows the Agricultural department's barn(now confirming the school ship's setting has been retconned and daikon war's version is canon). This scene likely is connected to the garage scene, and is from the same scene director Mizushima revealed some time ago.

Fig.32 shows Duck team on top of a container stack. Possibly happens when Oarai gets boxed in inside the docks. Noriko is likely searching for an exit or taunting someone(maybe Rukuriri) with Taeko looking downward.

Fig.33~38 show all characters who have came to see the finals and cheer for Oarai.

Thoughts and Reviews:

Personally this trailer was excellent but slightly underwhelming compared to the previous one, maybe because the previous trailers gave more crucial info on the battle. It was still a great trailer with more details to be examined tho.

I'm glad the trailer shows some Slice of Life parts(which was said by Mizushima to take a considerable amount of screentime in part 5). Although not many, it was glad to see St. Gloriana getting some relaxing scenes, and the trailer also providing a lot of subtle details (including the audience cameos, location) was good.

With this trailer, the location for the finals is likely going to take place in Yokohama, which is St. Gloriana's base in lore.(The docks, ferris wheel, bridges are in Yokohama too irl) Assuming this is correct, I will write another speculation in a different post.

Unfortunately, Belle and Jane wont be joining as the 10th team, and it is likely that Oarai will have only 9 tanks. This makes me wonder, then what was the reason to show Momo and 4 of angler fish team visiting the Agricultural department's location under rain, if it really had nothing to do with finding tanks.(unless this being another result of Mizushima just including random scenes he enjoys)

Gloriana however can have more unseen tanks including the one Orange Pekoe is in. Those are likely major spoilers so the details will be kept unrevealed until the movie's release or even by das finale 6. It would not make sense for them to not fill the 20 tank limit when they're clearly not reducing their numbers for Oarai.
