Hello all,
We hope you are all doing well. We made a few updates to the subreddit rules. Most of these are no change to how the subreddit is currently moderated.
For rules #1 and #2 we combined those both into the same rule. Both had to do with illegal streaming, one was just for full episodes and the other for promos.
The rules about relevance and unrelated memes have now been combined. These both overlap quite a bit. We still know Ellen on was on Friends, please don't remind us. This rule will be more of a catch all for posts like that as well as any type of low-effort one word type posts, or just spam and blatant reposting.
The rule about initial airing has been removed. This was put in when CTV in Canada aired their episode a full day before the US. This is no longer the case, so the rule isn't really needed anymore.
We also removed the ban evasion rule. This was a non-starter rule anyway. If someone does this we will handle it with reddit admin staff.
Lastly, we have added one rule. No AI Generated Content or "AI Slop" as it's commonly called. This includes any AI-generated images, videos, music, or text. When it comes to text, moderators will exercise certain discretion when using tools for spelling, grammar, translation, or clarity, but posts that are largely AI-generated, spam-like, or what is obviously AI slop text will be removed.
Again, most of this is cleanup rather than a major shift in moderation. The goal is to make the rules clearer, easier to enforce, and more in line with how the subreddit is actually used now.
Please see the rules section of the subreddit if you have any questions or message the moderators. Your order may have changed :P
Thank you for your time! -Sork

This was funny but technically George wasn’t crossing the street he pushed someone out of the way at a bus stop. (My thing is that if they were at a bus stop he did the bus hit George so badly. And they said the bus dragged him so the bus hit him and just kept going. There must have been more to the story like maybe the bus driver passed out or something)

I am re watching the show yet again and i am again ENRAGED BY how sly and disgusting it was for yang and SHANE to speak to Meredith the way that they did. Specially after Meredith said explicitly to ask the board first and vote. If the same situation was vice versa, if the printer has been yang's, she would've given Meredith a mouthful of how she is jealous or not supporting or a load of crap.
Upon re-watching the series multiple times, I have to say, yang is so selfish. She is talented ofcourse but she is not god and her character while funny at times is also infuriating.

I saw it couple days ago and still can't let it go. 😢

I think it is episode 4-2; it's where Lexie is going through all of the files in the Chief's office and specifically all of the MAGIC interns applications. She mentions that Cristina is dyslexic. I've never caught it before and I wish it was something that they could have explored more for her character development.
Outside a writing glitch - do you think either:
Cristina lied on her application to make herself a more appealing candidate - like Alex did?
She didn't lie but she's too proud to admit it and it's why she works as hard as she does to overcome it and not let it hold her back?

Let’s face it this show has been repeating storylines for like 10+ years now. We’ve seen the secret sibling bullshit happen to Meredith 3 times now (Molly, Lexie and Maggie) then it happened with Owen and his sister Megan. So them doing it again isn’t a stretch to the imagination but if they HAVE to do it again why not make it Meredith’s brother? Like Thather had a kid from either before Ellis or me after Ellis and before he meant Susan. Or they can just say he had an affair and cheated on one of them (which again is the most repeated storyline in this show). I’m saying brother because it would bring a new dynamic to the show. He doesn’t even have to be doctor he could be a lawyer or whatever. Thoughts?
This isn’t meant to be taken seriously it’s kinda half joking/I could see them pulling this soap opera level shit

Do you think they’d be nervous - izzie because of all the old faces and alex because of Jo? Do you think they would’ve been in touch with Meredith? How do you think Jo would react finally seeing Alex and meeting Izzie? Do you think Bailey missed Izzie?
I think Alex might be protective of Izzie when she returns as it must be difficult considering she was last fired. But also I can imagine the whole Jo thing being a mindfuck for both of them too. It would be fun to see how he reacts to Link and Jo together.
Lots and lots of questions and hypotheticals…

I'm rewatching Grey's Anatomy for the umpteenth time, and I love Cristina as a bartender. She is just hilarious.

I’ve done two rewatches of the show (up to season 11 on the second) before stopping. And I’ve been wondering. If the hospital and its staff existed in the real world, how soon would the hospital be shut down and its staff fired, arrested or have their licenses revoked? Who would be punished first and who would receive the worst punishment/consequences?
Basically, what if Grey’s Anatomy took place in the real world?

When children are born, they don’t have any sense of themselves. They have no clear sense of their own existence yet. Their certainty of their own existence develops over time and is reinforced by their parents.
So when a child’s needs aren’t met or they’re neglected, they struggle to confirm their own existence. They develop this feeling of non-existence instead. ‘My parents don’t see me, therefore I don’t exist’. They go on to ignore their own needs or put themselves in risky situations. I’m paraphrasing it a bit, but that’s the basic psychology.
That’s why fetus Mer is the way she is. It’s why she sleeps her way through Europe and takes crazy risks. It’s why she’llstick her hand on a bomb or stop swimmingbecause if she doesn't fully exist, then what’s stopping her? She doesn’t exist to Ellis, because surgery is her true love. And she doesn’t exist to Thatcher, because he’s either useless (amongst other things).
I get that some people find her annoying or dramatic or nonsensical. But she makes perfect sense if you’ve experienced a similar childhood.

I'm apparently one of those rare people that remembers their dreams vividly and for a long time too. I can't recall all of them but I remember dreams I had as a child, like from when I was like 8 😄
I've been having some medical issues and I dreamt about Cristina. We were friends and I went to her for advice and she examined me and that's all imma say about that before I get in trouble 😅😅

I made a post a few days ago about derek scoring a home run with Mer’s engagement ring when he was going through it. I think it was such an out of character moment for him, even though he was kind of insufferable as a whole.
What other moments within the grey’s crew do y’all think were out of character for them?

Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate Derek but when I see people defending him against the hate it’s always saying that he does in fact apologizes for everything. But he did not apologized for this. And neither for most of things he did to Meredith.
We moved on from this way too early, like you can say anything about this Man but the worst thing that he did was calling Meredith a whore for sleeping with a man when she was single and he was married because he choose Addison. Not apologizing for it and then acting mad at Meredith when she put him in his place.
I’m sorry kill me but this was unforgivable, I myself don’t hate Derek and find most of things that people say he did stupid, but this was just terrible. This should NOT be defended in ANY case. I would been done with that man at the second he say that.
I’m sorry and also the way he never apologized?? Like that was so rude, also him acting like he was mad at her was just childish, I would’ve beaten him up like who does he think he is.
The “You don’t get to call me a whore” speech was definitely soooo important. Didn’t saw it before but now I see it now.

I'm rewatching for the umpteenth time and I've been craving some good Merder fanfics. However, I cannot seem to find any that are in character. I even tried FFnet thinking the oldest ones would be there, but no luck. I was primarily looking for AUs, but now I would be grateful for any recommendations as long as the characters are true to themselves. Thanks in advance!

Acho muita sacanagem
