It really keeps you hooked till the end. Finally a good thriller from prime after a long time. Definitely 7/10 imo.

Please please please someone remake this!!! It used to air on DD, much before the days of cable TV and OTT. One episode per Paramveer Chakra winner. In today’s age of higher production budgets, this can be a sure shot winner!

It was a wonderful idea - a series based on an Army Hospital in Uri. And it appears the Army has provided full support for the production. I was hoping for an Indian M*A*S*H . But bad writing, poor direction and over acting across the board results in a shoddy, jerky overall feel. Really disappointing.

Watched Babita Singh Reporting in one sitting and it kept me hooked to the extent I over analysed the entire story.

There are bits where I felt eerie, idk why some parts gave me a feeling of watching kohhra, maybe bcoz Barun Sobti was in it.

The climax was predicted but I wanted it to be something different. The premise is new, has a high emotional quotient but feels dragged at times.

Overall 6/10

Couldn’t even watch the episode completely.
It’s absolutely ruined.

I see multiple problems in the S2.

- Desperately trying to rope in Celebs and not Stand Up Comedians.
- Too much concentrated on Brand and Celeb Colabs.
- The participants either are too vetted or the show has been scripted to the A. Most of the acts and specially the showstopper is completely scripted.

There might be many who like the show or quite many to comment from PR agency saying it’s amazing show but you know it what it is.

I guess trying too cautious and milking S1 is not appealing.

Samay has already explained that Latent is best experienced live. He has also talked about wanting the live version to be much wilder, while putting a softer version of the show on the internet. And considering what happened with Season 1, I don't think it's unreasonable for the online version to be more restrained.

Season 1 wasn't just "edgy comedy that people didn't like." It became a massive controversy, resulted in legal action, and ultimately led to the show being taken down. So expecting Season 2 to come back exactly as raw and unfiltered as Season 1 was is honestly unrealistic.

In fact, Kiku Sharda recently confirmed that some genuinely funny moments were left out because they were considered a little too out of line. So yes, there is clearly more filtering happening. That's not some secret conspiracy, its an understandable consequence of everything the show went through.

And I get that people can prefer Season 1. If you think Season 2 has lost some of that spontaneity or rawness, that's a completely valid opinion. But seeing post after post acting shocked that the show isn't exactly the same as Season 1 feels incredibly short-sighted.

At some point, you have to understand that being completely filter-less in India isn't necessarily sustainable if you want the show to exist for more than one season. Some compromises probably have to be made if there is going to be a Season 3, 4, etc.

You don't like the new version? Fair enough. Don't watch it.

But criticizing every episode solely because "it isn't Season 1" while ignoring everything that happened between the two seasons is missing a pretty obvious part of the picture.

It's funny how Bobby Deol has two films hitting OTT on the same day, but the conversation around them feels completely different.

Alpha was easily one of the bigger Hindi releases of the year. Big studio, big marketing push, spy-universe connections, lots of pre-release discussion. But once the film came out, the reactions seemed pretty split depending on who you asked.

On the other hand, Bandar feels like the film that keeps popping up whenever people talk about underrated performances or movies they wish more people had seen. It never had the same level of hype, but the word-of-mouth seems surprisingly strong.
