Hundreds and thousands visit this temple (one of the oldest and most recognised) everyday and these cats are roaming around freely; they're also fed by the devotees and temple staff. Sorry for bad pics :/

She’s a sweet 3 mo gurll and doesn’t trouble anyone. She doesn’t try to bite or scratch and always loves getting pats. In the last pic, she’s finding her piece. ☺️💯❤️

I've recently been on a temple tour, to some of the oldest and most visited temples in India. I found cats straying around in each and every temple, and seriously nobody bothered them. Except some kids once in a while wanting to play with them. I wish I had captured them all but phones weren't allowed in some places and sometimes I was too slow to pull out the phone.

I found the whole situation nice it reminded me of istanbul where cats just chill around in public places.

In one of the temples a cat mom and kittens were also being fed non-vegetarian food, which I thought was really considered of the temple staff and a wholesome thing. You'd think cat lovers would first thing get happy seeing it. Disappointed to see all the negative comments on my other post about this.

I really need some emotional support and maybe some perspective from people who have experienced this before. I'm exhausted, anxious and haven't properly slept for two days.

I have been taking care of an outdoor mother cat who has been with me for a long time. She has had three litters. The previous two litters sadly died around the same age, and I was terrified the same thing would happen to this litter. I was also struggling to take care of three cats, so I found homes for the kittens because I wanted them to have a safe chance at life rather than risk losing them outside.

My concern right now isn't really the kittens - it's their mother cuz the kittens are in good homes.

Since they left, Mama has been crying constantly. She walks around calling for them, cries when I disappear from her sight, sleeps for a little while and then wakes up crying again. She is eating and drinking, and she does sleep sometimes, but she seems much more dull and restless than I've ever seen her.

I tried taking her to the vet before. She escaped during the attempt and disappeared for FIVE DAYS. I prayed days and nights and was in constant guilt that i shouldnt have taken to the vet, When she finally came back, she was extremely skinny. Ever since then, I'm honestly terrified of trying to take her anywhere again.

I'm also trying to arrange funds for her spay. She has no vaccination history, she's an outdoor cat, and I'm terrified that while I'm trying to arrange everything - funds, vaccinations, surgery, mentally preparing myself - she'll get pregnant again.

I desperately wish to find someone who could care for her more than me would or just adopt her and give her a safe indoor home, but I don't know whether she would ever settle after living outdoors for so long.

I feel like I'm constantly in survival mode. I love this cat so much and I don't want to make any wrong decision with her again

Update:- Kaju’s weight has further increased from 4.45 to 4.65kg (3.7kg at start of treatment)……..almost one kg increased since treatment started. He is very active and recovering very fast because of all your prayers🙏🙏………once his treatment ends we are planning his neutering and vaccination and then hopefully his adoption by a loving family. If anyone does want to adopt him after his treatment pls do message me and pls share this post everywhere so that Kaju can find his family❤️❤️🙏🙏.

Today is Kaju's 38th day of his Dry FIP treatment........he is responding very positively to his treatment, I want to thank the people who have donated for Kaju......it has helped a lot and its really good to know that so many people care about Kaju so much.It means a lot to see so many people caring about these souls and donating whatever amount they can🙏🙏❤️

The amount of money spent till now is - ₹1,27,387.68 and the amount of donation that we have received has been - ₹20,000.

We go to Central Vets for Kaju's treatment.

So i recently adopted a female cat she is 1.5 years old and 3.2 kg. Before she used to poop like once every 24hrs . But since one month it changed to like around 48hrs. Is it normal or emergency situation? Should i should take her to the vet asap? The poop is healthy looking poop dark brown but at the end of her poop she gets little loose light brown poop? Is it something related to the diet?

This little cat was abandoned by her owner near my house, and unfortunately, she was later attacked by a dog. The attack left her unable to properly use her hind legs.

I took her to the vet, and I was told that there is unfortunately a low chance of her fully recovering. However, after starting medication, she has shown some slight improvement. She still cannot walk properly on her back legs, but I don't want to give up on her while she is showing signs of progress.

Unfortunately, she has now developed another serious problem. A large abscess near her perianal area burst, leaving her with an open and painful wound. She currently needs daily veterinary visits for wound cleaning, antibiotic injections, and nerve-support medication/supplements.

I am trying to raise funds to help cover her ongoing veterinary treatment, medicines and food.

We live in a hostel and we are taking care of a female orange cat(Shakira) and her litter of three kittens since she gave birth to them 5days ago. They are healthy and the cat is fed well, she has all of the cat food here, like wet chicken mousse that she previously loved. We have got her all kinds of cat food in the market and also boiled chicken, egg and rice. But Tonight she took one kid and ran upstairs to the fourth floor to a random persons room and went into a box. Even after we brought back the box she is trying to go back to that room and stay under their bed.

ALSO WHAT STARTED ALL THIS??? BIRYANI

So we got some biryani for ourselves yesterday and she wanted some then we gave her in her plate. But we feel she felt betrayed and tried to jump and eat from ours which is not usual behavior. TODAY we bought biryani just for HER. SHE DIDN'T EAT ANYTHING ALL DAY NOT EVEN IMPORTED CAT FOOD and only ate that biryani at night.

How do we keep her with her kids and in this room where she is safe and fed and not elsewhere where they might get hurt.

If you see the ingredients behind the drools junior mousse packets, I see a clean ingredients list. Much better than even Royal canin idk about other drools products and how terrible they are, but this one is pretty decent. Even chatgpt scored 8/10 to this
I am personally also feeding my cat this, haven’t seen an issue, although i have switched to smylo seeing the negative reviews. I just want to understand why not drools if their ingredient list is good?
