ai doesn't generate things from thin air. for a learning model to generate something, it had to have something to train off of. not a victimless crime whatsoever.
That's not how generative AI works lol. You don't need to a photo of a teal unicorn shitting rainbow pancakes into the mouth of a grey slug giving birth to twin gerbils for it to generate that image.
It could be trained on drawings of children, it could also be directed to make them small adults etc, or be trained on real adults that look like children.
Make that argument for anything else. Would you argue the depiction of robbery in movies should be outlawed because it encourages robbery?
Do you argue that violence depicted in video games encourages violence?
Do you argue that rap songs depicting gang behavior encourages gang behavior?
Do you recognize even if you do clearly society as a whole does not because they allow all of these other depictions to occur under first amendment protection.
True, so you feel sexual abuse portrayed in movie and songs, video games etc should all be banned? What about porn in general where a large number of people can be coerced out of desperation? Do you argue that should all be banned?
Do you favor laws attempting to protect children from being exposed to pornography in the Internet?
Certainly if you argue fake children need to be protected you also argue real children need to be protected.
I get what you're saying, tbh I didnt know there's sexual abuse in games, yk they had been banned before so.
I'm not saying protect fake people, im saying that this behavior specifically has no need to be encouraged.
My point is why this stuff is seemed okay in society in the first place. Why are we portraying this with Ai? Ai doesn't make it up, someone had to train it.
This is what it falls back on, either we acknowledge that depiction of crime causes crime or we don’t. But it’s illogical to argue some does and some doesn’t.
Imagine a world with no allowed depiction of crime. Movies are going to become extremely boring. It’s all hallmark movies from here on out.

Victimless crime, of course it should be legal.
