Knighthood Community Q&A - Full Summary

Welcome to the summary of the Knighthood Community Q&A session held on February 27, 2025!

The Midoki Community team of Chris and Elt were joined by Teddy from the Knighthood Product team to answer questions submitted by players, as well as share more information on what’s coming next to the game. Full details on what was covered are below.

Whilst this Q&A covered points raised by players that we’re able to address now, the Knighthood team fully intends to answer more questions and topics in future activities. A huge thank you to the community for submitting your questions and participating in this session!

Q&A

Question: “Any updates on Loadouts? We saw in the last AMA that the system can expand, but the team has been silent since then.”

Answer: “Yes, more Loadouts will happen! At the moment, we think that Q3 of this year is a realistic timeline for introducing this. We are still figuring out how exactly this will look and be implemented, but we have heard you and have full intention to deliver more Loadouts.”

Question: “I was wondering if we can expect a Rogue rage gain Hero to make the class more viable?”

Answer: “Firstly on this specific question: the way we approach the game is overall ensuring there is a balance and all hero classes and alignments are represented equally. This obviously answers a part of the question: yes, there will be a Rogue Hero soon, as well as a Warrior one!

“Over time we'll look to share more cool details from the Design team on these additions, but what we can confirm is that the Rogue and Warrior heroes will be a part of the new event we will see come to life towards the end of 2025 – and as some of you have already guessed, Militia is getting its own event.”

Question: “What's the plan with Charms? Will we ever see Mythic charms? Is there a plan to add dismantle Charms or some kind of better Charm conversion where we can take the charms we don't use and convert them into ones we want?”

Answer: “So we have noted that we’ve received questions around Charms and having more options to make use of unwanted Charms. We have been investigating further ways that these charms could be used or recycled, but don’t have anything to confirm at this stage. We’ve taken on the feedback, though, to see what we can do in this area.”

Question: “Are there any planned balancing changes coming to existing Heroes?”

Answer: “Yes - we are actively working now on changes regarding balancing Heroes. Dr Flox will be the first one to receive changes - but also, we will be actively looking at performance through every update, to see if further balancing of Heroes is required.”

Question: “Are new areas for Knighthood currently in development?”

Answer: “There are higher priorities right now to improve and stabilise the game's performance in other areas, so in terms of a new region/area, there are no confirmed plans for this year. If this changes in the future, we’ll of course let players know.”

Question: “Will there be more Mythic armour or other content coming to the game?”

Answer: “The short version is yes! We fully intend on adding more Mythic items to Knighthood. Unfortunately we do not have a solid timeline for this just yet, as we work on the design and gameplay aspects with the development team, but we fully intend to bring further Mythic options into the game and look forward to sharing more later down the line.”

Question: “Are more female-coded customisation items planned to be added to the game?”

“After seeing the questions and requests around this for the Q&A, we’ve made a note that we’ll explore this further with the Design team. So, no confirmed plans or additions right now, but it’s something we want to look into, so thank you for raising this!”

Question: “What changes are being planned for Guild Wars?”

Answer: “Guild Wars is absolutely an area of the game that we see as a priority to address and improve. We plan to rework and overhaul multiple aspects of Guild Wars. This is a major focus for our team and as our work progresses, we’ll share more on the changes you can expect. One thing we can share right now as a planned Guild Wars change is that, in the next Guild War, nodes that are classified as ‘easy’ will not be able to be fortified by Guilds, but they will still be able to be defended.

“For Guilds in general, we’re looking at ways to improve Guild chat, including further improving text moderation and safety from offensive or toxic behaviour.”

Question: “Will new game modes ever have new mechanics? It would be great to see further expansion on Rift-like raids that could be done with 2 or 3 players.”

Answer: “Whilst brand new mechanics within game modes isn’t something we have information on right now, on the topic of Rifts, we can say that we intend to expand on Rifts in some way. This change is currently aiming for Q4 of this year!”

Question: “Can you please do something interesting with the Leaderboards in the game?”

Answer: “Similarly to how we’re looking at Guild Wars, Leaderboards is another big focus for our team right now. We can see that it's something we need to address further, and we're planning to make changes in multiple aspects of Leaderboards to make them more engaging and worthwhile.”

Question: “Will we see the return of Community Challenges on Discord?”

Answer: Yes! The team is still finalising details, like what the events and rewards will be and the timeline, but yes, Community Challenges will be returning.

2025 Roadmap

Following the Q&A, we also shared a ‘Roadmap’ of planned events, additions, and changes for Knighthood in 2025. The Roadmap is a high-level summary of current plans, with more details to be shared in due course. Check it out below!

Help or Question Quick Question re: Level Cap

I am in Atlantica and am level capped at 66. When I do some random things, like raise my mythic weapon to L66, a quest update flashes for "The Way is Shut" and says that I have done one of the six things necessary to complete the quest. I cannot find the quest requirements either on the main quest page or on the side quest page. Apparently I have done 5 of the 6 quests, which definitely included getting to a certain floor of a Conquest Tower, getting my mythic equipment to L66 (both weapon and armor), and getting at least a handful of heroes to L66.

How do I get to the L70 level cap? I'm ready to finish this game!

Help or Question Need Help Beating Atlantica

Post image
3 Upvotes

How can I beat the enemies in Atlantica?
I’m currently using a Logician’s Gauntlet with Freya and Vordrai, but I can’t seem to beat the level 63 mobs.

I’m thinking about switching to:
Holy Gauntlet + Bonnie and Tristan or
Logician’s Gauntlet + Freya and Tristan

My Logician’s Gauntlet is almost maxed out, so I’m not sure if I should stick with it or start working on the Holy Gauntlet. Any advice on which setup would work better, or anything else I should change to get through Atlantica, would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Strategies or Tactics Mythic essence farming

I was messing around with Volcanite/Tellurian conversion for Mythic Essence and realized converting down can actually be worth the gold if you take it all the way to Bits.

Example:

10 Volcanite Bars = 30 essence
100 gold = 100 essence
So directly distilling both gives 130 essence

But if you spend that 100 gold to convert:

10 Bars + 100 gold = 250 Bits
250 Bits = 250 essence

So you’re basically turning 130 potential essence into 250.

I did a bigger conversion and spent roughly 5k gold to end up with about 6,250 essence, plus I still had some material left over.

The higher-tier conversions can look bad if you stop halfway, but if you keep converting down to Bits, it seems like you come out ahead overall.

Has anyone else done the math on this or found an even better way to farm Mythic Essence?

Help or Question Heroes question

Hey Reddit, are any one of these heroes worth investing into? I couldn’t find too much information on heroes or even minions for this game. I just don’t want to waste resources.

The heroes I’m primarily investing in right now are Grimm, Anaara, and it seems like Tristan is pretty good too, I like his cleanse ability. Thanks guys for the help on this game.

Help or Question Armor/Health ratio

Post image
10 Upvotes

Question: How many Armor/Health charms should I equip on my gear? I’m currently running Freya and Vordrai with the Logician Gauntlet. Right now, I’m using 9 Armor charms and 6 Health charms. What ratio would you recommend? I also need enough health to tank heroes that deal direct-to-health damage in the Arena.

Help or Question Any tips on beating these guys with ease? I’m running Freya and Voidrai with the Logician Gauntlet. I’m using potions at the moment to beat them because their poison is deadly. My sword setup hits them really hard, though.

Help or Question Armor rarity questions

This is my current setup. As I’m starting to get higher rarity gear like these few blues I got, is it worth switching to that to start leveling up? But I also really like the knighthood set I want to know if that set is also good long term.

Help or Question PROBLEM

First of all, before reaching the main screen—even though my internet connection is working—I have to close the screen (as if dismissing the window) and click on it again just to open the game. Then, when it does open, it always shows me the same notification about the new event. On top of that, none of the game features work: it doesn't detect my guild, and it won't let me play matches... It also gives me an error code for certain items (see the photo above). Let me know if this has happened to you too; I’ve already contacted support.

Help or Question New Player Questions

Recently started playing Knighthood and have some questions on combat.

When is it best to use weapon attacks or punches? Would I use punches until Rage is topped off and only then swap to weapon attacks until I want to use Rage?

Since attacks build chains, when would I best use companion attacks? Start with them before building up a chain or is there benefit to using a companion ability at the end of a chain?

Is the Auto Attack function reliable? It seems to do a good job, but I've noticed it doesn't build and use Rage, so I'm just curious if learning how it plays a good way to learn tactics.

Thanks!

Hello, fellow knights.

I just wanna ask the difference between normal and expert mythic rift? I saw some post saying that always go for expert mythic rift despite the massive rift power difference. Why?

Events Lack of mythical essence in the abyss.

Man... I don't know about you guys, but the lack of Mythic Essence as a reward in the Abyss is unbelievable. It’s practically just there for show.

I used to get it frequently, but now it’s the same as—or worse than—getting a Unique item. It never drops, man... NEVER... I really wish you guys would fix this or explain it.

Help or Question Haven't Played Since Around 2022 ... Has The Game Changed Much>

I played a lot a few years ago. Thinking about getting back into it. Has the game changed at all, both for better and/or worse?
