That's the sad truth, they all voted for him 4 years after that disastrous 1st term. We need everyone on board that understands this is an existential threat to our democracy. Im not so sure the ranchers and farmers and the rest of trump's most loyal followers will ever comprehend the seriousness of the situation. The current republicans do not want to share governing with democrats anymore...period.

Guaranteed the bulk of them won't. They don't stop and think about these things; they go off feels and will always vote for 1) racism and 2) easy answers + false promises, not necessarily in that order.

American historian Timothy Snyder says that (paraphrasing) ...we must understand that a significant minority of Americans are content with authoritarianism. Many US citizens either see its advantages or are indifferent.
