That blue-dot farmer is saying what a lot of people don’t want to hear: your vote didn’t just affect your farm. People lost jobs, families watched their grocery bills climb, and Americans struggled to afford basic meals while policies you supported hurt people you may never meet. Now that the pain has reached your own fields and your own wallet, you’re angry? Welcome to the consequences everyone else has been dealing with. The thing is that you got to be certain type of person to be a farmer and do all the farm stuff even with the pay and hours, so sadly this will never change. These are the exact kind of people who are primed to believe the right wing grift and blame the people living in cities and immigrants for all their problems
