That blue-dot farmer is saying what a lot of people don’t want to hear: your vote didn’t just affect your farm. People lost jobs, families watched their grocery bills climb, and Americans struggled to afford basic meals while policies you supported hurt people you may never meet. Now that the pain has reached your own fields and your own wallet, you’re angry? Welcome to the consequences everyone else has been dealing with. Yep. My dad completely unprompted told me just last week "trump is doing so many great things, it sucks that the terrible economy legislation Biden pushed for is finally catching up with us."

I'm not going to be overly combative with my father, so I was just like "don't you think the iran war and the strait of hormuz being closed for 6 months has something to do with it?"

His response was "is that still going on? When all that started I stopped paying attention to the news. -hand waves away-"
