Hey, I got standby tickets and it didn't say anywhere in the email that I had to rsvp or confirm that I could make it, I heard that other people did have to do that, but maybe that's because they got real tickets and not standby ones?

Email went to spam and I didnt see it til just now - assume Im out of luck?!

Now they’ve had a whole summer where they know they’re coming back and have had several months to write material. and if season 1 was so spectacular with a bunch of folks still getting to know each other and learning what the show would be, imagine what season 2 is gonna be like now that they have hit the ground running. I’m so excited.

Now,I've finally accepted Dara won't be appointed as a musical guest in her own right (she didn't make enough impact in the charts, unless I'm about to be wildly out and she is), but as we know Jax is a DJ, not a singer, so I've just thought of a perfect workaround. As either his first song or his second, Dara flies in to sing that winner in its new remix version. It's on Spotify(or your other platform of choice) already if you know where to look. And it would help introduce her to mainstream Britain, rather than the pressure of being musical guest herself👀👀😏. And you know what it would tell NBC & Lorne Michaels, that we can put our own further spin on the format as well, by having a DJ play live. I mean Jax could do with the exposure too, he's not had a hit in a while, a win-win for both?

I was told I'd "won" 2 tickets in the ballot to the dress rehearsal on Sat 12th.

Sadly I was one of the silly billies who had checked the dates they could do instead of couldn't so I can't actually attend, but hoping another date gets sent through 🤞

Just had an RSVP email through offering me dress rehearsal tickets for the first episode (12 September) – so it seems they've started drawing the ballot for that episode at least. Very excited to go along, even if my whooping face won't actually be on TV

I won the tickets for the 12th sept dress, and I RSVP'd / confirmed it via the link. They said 'Your response was submitted. You will receive an email with your tickets in due course.'

I am just wondering if it's safe to book my flights to London, or should I wait until I get the email with the actual tickets? Though that may not come for a long time?

Not sure if it's slightly too early in the schedule for the first half of series 2 but I would bet good money on Blossoms being one of the musical guests this series. They have an album out on October 2nd so it's not completely out the realms of possibility.

Also, do all SNL guests generally host an episode due to having something to promote? Or can it just be a random person? The second half of Rivals S2 is out in the autumn so David Tennant could also be a good shout if that's how they plan it?

I was inspired by the previous post about hosting speculation was from looking at who the instagram account follows, so I decided to see who they're following and maybe we have a sneak peak of S2 hosts

Phil Wang, the post I was inspired by found they were following each other, might be because he was in a sketch group with fouracres, but also might make it more likely for him to host a show

Rege-Jean Page, star of bridgerton, account follows them and he follows them back, has already done the US version so definitely up for it

Joe Lycett, account follows them and he follows them back. They likely want to get on the celebrity traitors hype train and he's on the line up.
