After 12 amazing years, it's time for me to move on from Liverpool Football Club.
Leaving is never easy but I feel incredibly proud and grateful to have played for this club. I have lived out my dreams and played alongside some of my heroes. It's been a pleasure to share the pitch with such great people and to have made some of my best friends along the way.
I want to thank all of the staff and coaches I have worked with over the years. A special thank you to Steve Wright to told me to dream, and to Matt Beard who made my dreams come true. Beardy, I could never have thanked you enough for what you did for me and my family. I miss you every day.
To the fans, I hope you saw how much it meant to me to play for your club, to wear the badge and how grateful l was to hear you sing my name. I hope you understand that leaving was a difficult decision, but at this moment, ultimately what's best for me and my career.

Thank you for everything reds it's been fun,
Hannah x

Very good news. She has not been added to the first team squad though (not on liverpoolfc.com at least), it would be interesting to know what the plan is for her? A loan move?

There are other players that are knocking on the door of the first team, like Maizie Trueman, but I guess she is still too young to be able to sign a contract.

Discussion Posts Is it me, or does it feel like the women's team is getting more investment than the Men?

This is a slightly jokey title, but seeing the signings we're making, while I still feel we're off the top, it feels like we're addressing many of the holes the squad has had recently, which is incredibly exciting.

Obviously losing players like Kiernan and Bonner is tough, but it feels like we're building for the future with a team that can challenge in that top half. While the men's team have MASSIVE holes in the team that they've yet to actually address.

I don't know, I'm more excited for the women's season than I am for the men's season.

Long may it continue. (But preferably, let's have both thriving. Would like to have great weekends this autumn/winter.)

Discussion Posts With the Natalia Ramos signing, it's likely all our incomings are done. Here is the 26/27 starters and B team. What do you lads think?

Note:

1. I know Bernabe will likely be the starter, but I just hate watching her defensively so I'd rather see Ward start until proven otherwise. :P

2. We clearly have an excess of players and we will see further outgoings. My guess is that Zara and Enderby will go on loan. Kapocs and Lundgaard would be sold. Woodham will likely stay for extra backup, but I dont mind selling her as Ward can cover both flanks + Agrez and Fisk can shift out to full backs if really required.

3. People will likely be salty about Hobinger on the bench, but Mao is just too dynamic a player. Stronger, better dribbler, better presser with a powerful shot. Hobinger is great at set pieces, but I would like to slowly get her back up and running again after ACL and start Mao. I can see Gareth starting Hobinger tho anyway, since Mao is young.

4. I hope we continue to get more incomings, but unlikely now that all our positions of need are filled and we have excess of players.

I like our squad. I think Gareth has been really good at addressing the departments of need. Only issue I have is quality, I would have liked us to get more established upgrades to improve squad quality, but I also do know we were in for Fiamma and Pedemoors but likely couldn't get them.

Said elsewhere, I’m not too worried anyway as I believe we are a systemic team under Taylor more so than about players. As long as the players work hard, play cohesively and press well, we can beat alot of more expensive teams simply by tactics. Abit like Klopp in a sense.

What do you lads think?
