There’s a video from one of those cop slop channels with the body cam of this incident. They had like 8 people with a bunch of guns, med kits, and fireworks. One of the people who helped plan it got caught because him and his wife didn’t know the jail calls are recorded.

110

u/No-Library838 10h ago

Yeah when I first heard about this it sounded like the charges were unfair but with evidence of what happened they were all showing up armed to the teeth with body armor and trauma kits for a midnight "protest" of luring out a cop.

15

u/overloadrages 9h ago

Yeah honestly really dumb on them to bring fire arms.

26

u/MZM204 9h ago

Almost as dumb as shooting a cop in the back

-8

u/overloadrages 9h ago

I'd argue it's more dumb to bring firearms and not use them then bring them and use them. They all got like 50 year plus sentences anyhow. So stupid.

10

u/Adventurous-Crow-750 8h ago

You're a moron if you think it's better to shoot a cop then to not shoot a cop. Either that or you're one of the bad people that just got 50 years.

-1

u/Averagebritish_man 8h ago

Obviously shooting a cop is wrong, but if your gonna throw away your life for something you believe in then it’s better (from their pov) to actually do something.

3

u/BosnianSerb31 8h ago

Since they were already commissioning a felony, I can see your argument. Bringing a gun to a felony is the fastest way to go from probation to a decade in prison.

That being said, the dumbest move was committing the felony in the first place lol

7

u/TheBestHater 9h ago

Mentally unstable people hiding behind "causes" to try to justify their actions.

19

u/pumpkinjell0 9h ago

I literally just watched this episode yesterday. Crazy to see this post now lol.

17

u/Hare712 9h ago edited 8h ago

Here it is

The video is leaving out some details what resulted in those harsh sentences: Their chatlogs. The far left has similar gun nut/militia type movements just like the Proud Boys/Oath Keepers. They call themselves "Socialist Rifle Association(SRA)" and "Doll Squad"

Benjamin Song was a member of the SRA, he was also OTH discharged from the Marine Reserves. (worst kind of normal seperation in the US military only given for serious misconduct, worse forms have serious consequences and time in military prison)

One guy(the guy who ran away and kinda cooperated with the police officer) made a plea deal and nothing incriminating could be tied to him so he only got 22 months.

17

u/AllUserNameBLong2us 9h ago

Other than honorable discharges are not the worst kind of separation, dishonorable discharge<bad conduct discharge<OTH<general<Honorable

OTH is still an administrative discharge with nothing punitive, just means you don’t get Tricare or Vet benefits. It’s the 3rd most popular discharge (honorable and general make up over 90%)

I have a OTH and it’s had 0 effect on literally anything in my life, just from washing out and quitting my 4 years early.

-5

u/Hare712 8h ago

Dishonorable Discharge usually involves serious crimes like espionage, treason or espionage carrying long prison sentences if not life sentences.

Bad Conduct discharge also involves acts where you'd end up in military prison.

4

u/Bext 9h ago

Song is also a known associate of the local John Brown Gun Club, named Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club. "Elm Fork" being the name of a local boomerfudd gun range in DFW, which I'm sure are thrilled that a domestic terrorist is attempting to use their name.

Additionally, Song has been arrested multiple times for assaulting people at protests in Austin and DFW. Before the ICE ambush attack last summer he, along with other EFJBGC members, were being sued in civil court for pepper spraying protesters at a family friendly drag show in 2023.

1

u/pepi8677 8h ago

yeah they had more than 11 guns including rifles , pistols , trauma kits , water for days ,some kind of explosive , fucking crazy.

All they want is free healthcare and a higher minimum wage.

33

u/Guastatori-UK 10h ago

There was also drone factory raided in Czechia as part of a group which one of them being a Hasan fan

5

u/[deleted] 8h ago

[deleted]

6

u/Party-Boob 8h ago

They were supplying Ukraine. Twitter bros said they were arming Israel because “I did my research bro”. Probably got innocent children murdered in Ukraine because they couldn’t produce counter drones due to the attack.

6

u/Guastatori-UK 8h ago

Yes but they thought it was supplying Israel. They were my mostly duped as part of Russia's hybrid war on NATO support for Ukraine

25

u/Waste_Development971 10h ago

Wait were the other two hasan fans too lmao no way

3

u/Lethoricc 9h ago

There was also that fan who got caught trying to meet a kid in one of those predator catching streams.

3

u/RlySkiz 9h ago

Somehow gotta compete with kick streamers, they are already waiting on that traffic death, this will give them more publicity.

2

u/Hare712 8h ago

When is the Elias Rodrigues trial? That could finally confirm Hasan as the Alex Jones/Nick Fuentes of the Left.

1

u/Firecracker048 8h ago

At some point your fans are a reflection of the stuff you broadcast.

-4

u/OnceMoreAndAgain 9h ago edited 9h ago

Saying that someone being a Hasan watcher was a contributor to them committing a crime is in my opinion no different than the people who say that playing violent video games is a contributor to people who commit crimes.

Reddit has never liked that second thing, but here you are doing the first despite it being the same mistake.

If you're going to attribute environmental factors to actions to that degree then where do we draw the line? You attribute Twitch viewership to criminal behavior, but do you attribute movies they watched, video games they've played, reddit, 4chan, Discord, Facebook, Twitter, etc?

By the way, I watch none of the streamers relevant to this discussion. I don't think I'm biased in that regard, so anyone who thinks I'm some Hasan defender is wrong.

20

u/Stringy31 8h ago

Buddy, the guy who shot the cop in the video was tweeting at Hasan asking for money to buy guns.

The guy who called in the bomb threats was featured ON STREAM with Hasan.

The Hasan fan who threatened to murder Senator Tom Tillis' wife did so after Hasan specifically said that harassment against Tim Tillis was effective.

3

u/Firecracker048 7h ago

At some point Hasan fans are a reflection of who he is as a streamer

8

u/Such-Principle-3373 8h ago

Im going to assume you're coming at this in good faith, but the problem with you analogy is you trying to switch from a broader topic video games, or social media sites in general, and compare that to very specific media like Hasan.

Hasan is a propagandist, he has celebrated, and defended terrorist these are very specific, and harmful types of media

-1

u/OnceMoreAndAgain 8h ago

The video game people used to specifically mention was Grand Theft Auto. The narrative was that GTA was making children violent.

6

u/Such-Principle-3373 8h ago

Okay so you want to compare Hasan with GTA, right away the big difference is GTA doesn't have the intention of making people more violent, and Hasan actively is trying to make people believe things, and he does so with propaganda. Do you recognize that the intentions of the media matter when speaking about harm?

8

u/ChiefMasterGuru 9h ago

I think you can put together the difference between a video game vs a political activist who says shit like let the streets run red in capitalist pigdog blood. Especially when the criminals are specifically looking at the latter and going "yessir I'll go do that"

Surely we understand the difference.

-1

u/OnceMoreAndAgain 8h ago

Tell me the difference.

5

u/ChiefMasterGuru 8h ago

You know the difference because you broadened it to "twitch viewership" instead of discussing what people are actually complaining about. Nobody said twitch viewership, they said that Hasan specifically encourages his audience to take radical actions and doing so by pointing at real individual people or groups such as capitalists/police/zionists.

If you want to actually have a discussion, point to a videogame or movie that explicitly encourages violent actions in the way Hasan does and show that the same people were making the claim that it's not encouraging violence.

That's endemic on you...you can't just point at chocolate and apples and go "it's all Food why would you say one is unhealthy and the other isn't, that's sooo inconsistent"...the content between the two is different so Obviously the reaction is different.

3

u/jreed12 8h ago

Well you see one plays video games, and the other says they want the blood of innocent people to flow through the streets.

2

u/Fast-Map-7853 8h ago

Hasan very directly incites violence and is not punished for it.

0

u/LysolSaw 9h ago

Too much nuance for LSF, my guy.

-22

u/EvanFri 9h ago

It seems highly plausible that anyone who has decided to undertake violence against the Trump regime is going to be a fan of people who are opposed to Trump and ICE. That does not mean opponents to Trump condone violent action against the administration. So it should not be surprising that someone who is violent against ICE may like Hasan or any other influencer who hates ICE.

There is a huge leap between being a fan and proving the influencer promoted violence and is the main reason why that person chose violence. The tweet does not establish Hasan guilty of promoting violence for that guy. Hasan did not appear to respond to or do anything to encourage and enable this person. If you cannot prove without a reasonable doubt then I am not placing blame on anyone but the person who actually decided for himself to be violent.

If you compared this situation to Trump's speech prior to Jan. 6th, you can make a case that Trump was inciting a crowd to violently siege congress. You can paint a line between trump's dubious words and the Jan. 6 event. Whereas the Hasan case is more about induction, possibility, or speculation that he influenced this person to be violent than any definitive evidence.

27

u/BTrippd 9h ago

Imagine if hasan gave people he disliked even 10% of that charity.

15

u/PowerRainbows 9h ago

Weird how they seem to gravitate towards him when other streamers are opposed to the same things

10

u/aereiaz 9h ago

That does not mean opponents to Trump condone violent action against the administration.

What a load of bullshit lmao. He's literally tweeted the gun that was used to kill Shinzo at politicians.

Please explain how this is non-violent.

-3

u/EvanFri 9h ago edited 8h ago

The context of that tweet was a response to Tom Cotton ominously insinuating to use violence against peaceful protestors for blocking traffic. He was openly encouraging his supporters to do violence against peaceful protestors and Hasan responded with a picture of that gun. So it seems more like a tit for tat kind of tweet. If you do violence, then we have no choice but to do violence back to defend ourselves.

Thanks for providing zero context.

4

u/aereiaz 9h ago

You're now changing the goalposts. You implied that he doesn't condone violent action. I literally brought up the time when he explicitly ENCOURAGED VIOLENT ACTION. Stop weaseling out.

0

u/EvanFri 8h ago

No my point is that there is no established proof that the person who killed the law enforcement officer did violence because Hasan encouraged him to be violent.

Additionally, isn't self defense a valid form of violence? That is what his response to Tom Cotton's call to violence implies. Hasan is basically saying if you want violence we will respond in kind. You would likely respond similarly if someone threatened you.

0

u/aereiaz 8h ago

No, that wasn't your point. Let's revisit your comment.

That does not mean opponents to Trump condone violent action against the administration.

I gave you proof of him condoning violent action against the administration. Literal proof of him tweeting a diagram of how to build a gun (that killed a politician) at a politician as a threat.

Your response was not to say it didn't happen. your response was to say that it was violent, and it was justified. You are changing the goalposts.

It can't simultaneous not happen, but also happen and be justified. You are talking and acting just like Hasan, trying to muddy the waters, lie, deflect, and reframe things.

1

u/EvanFri 8h ago

No my point is more about the problem of causation (inspired by my readings of Hume). I think it is more accurate to say that Hasan is very likely a contributing factor to this person's hatred of ICE. But whether Hasan was a primary causal factor for this person's violence is yet to be proven.

I did acknowledge that he tweeted that picture so I don't know why you are lying and saying that I said "it didn't happen." It makes no sense to say that. Additionally, I said self defense against calls for violence is justified which is the context of Hasan's tweet regarding that photo.

Additionally, if only 3 fans out of potentially millions of people who like Hasan committed crimes, then this suggests a very low probability that Hasan is a primary causal factor here. We should be seeing way more violent crime than we actually are.

-5

u/GoldTeamDowntown 9h ago

And yet all those people combined committed less violence on J6 than the cop shooter mentioned here.

0

u/EvanFri 9h ago

I think you missed the whole point of my message lmao that response is utterly irrelevant to what I am talking about

0

u/plasmoduckSA 9h ago

The whole point of your message is you're trying to run deluded defense for a supporter of terrorism.

1

u/EvanFri 9h ago

2

u/Hefty-Job-8733 8h ago

You’re just suppose to say hasan bad bro stop using your brain.

0

u/Beamazedbyme 9h ago

That’s completely untrue. Fuck this guy who attempted to kill a cop, but the insurrectionists who committed January 6th caused the death of 1 to 5 officers. At the very least, the deadly assault of an officer is more violence than the attempted murder of an officer

Thank you. I hope they do. Don't they realise there's a genocide going on?

Everyone knows that all Hasan wants is free healthcare, this cannot have anything to do with him.

Destiny did this, somehow. Destiny, and Israel. Destiny, Israel and the imperial overlords of the United States, the most evil edifice in the history of humankind.

7

u/shinsnatcher 7h ago

"Mossad false flag"-hasan probably

341

u/Sevonti 10h ago

How is that possible if all Hasan wants is a healthcare for all and all of his clips are out of context?

72

Dont you know he already apologized for those out of context clips?????

-44

u/Landsharkeisha 9h ago edited 9h ago

"Officially recognized" is hilarious since it literally means nothing. I'm not saying the Houthis are saints, but Isreal's genocide in Gaza is "officially recognized" as a genocide by more nations than those who designate the Houthis as terrorists.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_genocide_recognition

edit: crazy how many people here lack critical thinking. "Official Recognition" has next to zero validity in my book, and using it as a cudgel for one group's status and rejecting it for the status of another group. If you're going to be intellectually lazy at least apply it consistently

20

u/Beamazedbyme 9h ago

What a crazy whataboutism and deflection from the point. It’s not a difficult question: are the Houthis a terrorist group?

u/RepulsiveLiving8570 7h ago

Tbh i think Hasan is either some sort of psy-op or , at best, just a bad faith actor. I lean left on many issues myself, but encouraging dogma over critical thinking is dangerous coming from any part of the political spectrum. It's like certain parts of the far left are getting sucked into the same sort of populism they criticize, correctly in my view, Maga for. Creating more fear is not realistically going to lead to anything productive. The more at eachothers throats we are, the easier we can be controlled and exploited. Everyone should hold themselves to the same standards they use to judge others.

does jason support people who murder and dismember people on stream? because hasan streams in support of terrorism which is why you can associate the violent actions of his fans with him

4

u/ShiftyWolf117 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 8h ago

I dont like hasan but people are weirdly obsessed with him. Unless he armed these people personally and told them to do what he did then i dont understand what the connection here is, they just watched his content like a million other people do. People have a strange hate boner for hasan, I've seen so many clips of people asking politicians about hasan when he has virtually nothing to do with them. I dont care for the guy and the less i saw of him the better but the right and some people here just drool at the chance to talk about this guy.

5

u/xorphz 8h ago

He is literally on stream inciting violence with his rhetoric. There are countless clips of him dogwhistling to kill conservatives and Jews. He also defends and promotes terrorist groups. Are you being serious?

2

u/Dispositive46 8h ago

You destiny guys are wild.

1

u/ShiftyWolf117 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 8h ago

Plenty of people watch hasan and listen to whatever you call dogwhistles or rhetoric and they dont go out of their way to try kill someone. Maybe what he said helped push them over the edge but if he didnt then somebody else or something else would have. You can get radicalised, but actually committing violent action is nobody's fault but their own, they're adults they make their own choices and now hes living with the consequences of his actions.

1

I don't think too much people has a reason to like hasan outside politics weirdos but you have people like asmon who is the same shit but from the other political side and i don't see this level of obsession and you see clips of him every week wanting to see cops or the army killing random people or kids... i mean look trump the fucking president says more crazy shit but the big enemy is some stupid streamer? this people don't care about good or evil... this shit it's just a personal vendetta

Imo Trump is going to crack down on this in a desperate attempt to save his abysmal polling numbers and everyone is going down and democrats end up fullly backing hasan and the DSA.

Its going to be a total shitshow

The guy in the picture is Benjamin Song. His X account is the one Dan pulls up in the clip "BubbleBreakBS". If you're interested in seeing what Benjamin Song and his crew did in TX here's the link to a well put together YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CG5i-3-qLPo

Is it really that shocking that someone who is extremely anti ice would be viewers of extremely popular left wing content creators?

What, Did you expect him to watch Asmongold?

The bodycam footage reminded me of One Battle After Another which was pretty funny imo.
