When Andy is laid off when the IRS seizes Ron’s waterbed store and he and Kevin are cajoled into taking care of his sports car and it’s totaled, them getting paid $400 and the owners explanation simplified my understanding of insurance and how it works.

“You just paid me $60 and I paid you $400.00!”

Car insurance is a lot more simple to understand than health insurance which we also see referenced on Mission Hill.

For me, I was over thinking how car insurance worked and Mission Hill bottom lined it for me. Did anyone else have a similar experience with this?

Hi all, I've had the DVDs since 2005 so I've only ever watched those. I just sat down to watch the MTV episode with the "original music" some of you have graciously posted, and WOW!!

This was the first one I wanted to watch because I expected some different needle drops, but now the ENDING ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE. I had no idea why they were singing Everybody Hurts at the very end!! I guess I just thought the neighbors thought it'd be funny to sing it to Andy because of the lyrics. But now that I know the song was originally meant to be in it... it completely changes the entire episode! Wild!!

I always ask the same question when I rediscover an old favorite but for Mission Hill I almost feel like a point and click is the only genre that works

A couple years back, Bill Oakley mentioned in an interview that he and Weinstein were pitching a Mission Hill reboot that would focus on Gus and Wally. He said the voice actors were all on board.

Has anybody heard anything about this since then? Is Oakley just working full time as a food blogger now?

They're the only two related main characters and their brotherhood drives the plot, so it would make sense. "French" seems like an odd & overly specific surname for cartoon characters otherwise. Forgive me if this has been mentioned before.
