This is my good friend Ross' 1970 Dart, he's easily my youngest car guy buddy! Pretty rare to see a teen driving a 70's Mopar in 2026 as a daily AND he did a lot of work on the car. There is a documentary episode we filmed on his story i'll throw it in the comments if anyone wants to see it. This little 340 really ripps too! Was a fun drive!

Looking more like a Mopar motor each dau.day.

hey guys new to mopar, switching over from Mercedes, currently eyeing up a jeep grand cherokee. all my friends who drive mopars told me to make sure I only use liquimoly oil as it’s better than the mopar oil, I only used Mercedes oil for my previous car, but I thought I’d ask and see what you guys will say. Thank you!

Couldn't be happier right now, a dream truck for me. $7.5k and only needs some tlc for the most part. Dana 60/70, np205, getrag 360, and most importantly the intercooled ve 12 valve. Previous owner took great care of it, doesn't even leak anywhere. 300k miles, no blow by, starts on a dime, new clutch 60k miles ago. KDP is taken care of. The g360 has always been filled a quart and a half over. NM truck so zero meaningful rust and rough paint. 1 year old Cooper tires. Somewhat recently rearched leafs. Not perfect, but very happy with it, great bones.

Bought this car new in April of 2012 with less than 100 miles in it and it rolled 175k on the drive home from work last night. It’s the Touring trim with only 3 options, the 7 spoke 18” wheels, the basic U-Connect head unit, and most importantly, the 3.6l Pentastar under the hood. Even though it’s got a December 2011 build date, which would have been the covered under the 150k mile left bank head warranty, this 3.6l still has the original heads, cams and valve train on it! Oil changes have always been done in the 3000-5000 mile range and the vast majority of these miles, maybe all but 10k, have been running E85 as well.

This 1969 Coronet was taken off the road in the early 2000s... restored then sold to us because the owner was sick. We had the factory 383 rebuilt after it was botched in the initial rebuild. Added aluminum heads, big carb, radical cam and a whole bunch of other goodies. Well firing it up was sure interesting! Some of you may have seen this car floating on the net we have been documenting the whole story of brining this back to life on YT. Ill throw the link below to whoever wants to see it. It's an honor to be able to give this car a 2nd life and keep this Mopar legend alive while making my father-in-law the happiest guy on the planet.

So I pulled out my 727 Wednesday evening, pulled the hydraulic pump off, because I think it went bad, quick run down of my symptoms.

I was driving down my street, once I got to a little hill, I naturally stepped on the gas harder, it slipped out of gear completely while still in drive. I got it back in gear after revving over 4 grand, it would last in gear for a couple seconds and slipped out again.

In the meantime, I replaced my filter, and put a new pan gasket, just waiting on my pump now, I'll keep you all updated.

I need to transport this to MCACN in November. I inherited it from my dad who passed away. He was always a little reclusive with his car so my knowledge of what works vs doesn’t is limited. The car needs to roll, break and steer. The tires on it now are original. They are also flat. How do you recommend I best make this car “rollable”? Also it needs to brake which is another thing.

I don’t want to hurt the originality of the car and do something dumb. It was accepted into the barn finds section at MCACN. So to my understanding, I shouldn’t touch a damn thing on it.

Any mechanics in northwest Indiana or Chicago have any suggestions?

Taking my 1970 Dodge challenger to MCACN in November. I have no idea where to start with transportation. Does anyone have any suggestions? Car doesn’t drive. I just inherited it so I don’t know much about the condition underneath. It doesn’t have tires on the front. I have them. But they are original tires from the 70s. No idea about brakes.
