Recommendation/Review Free things to do in OKC
I compiled a document focused on free community meetups (free things you can do while meeting people)
for that reason, I havent included many (if any) solo free things to do (such as going to parks or libraries) since this list is supposed to be community-building-oriented
uf you have things to add please lmk and I will get to it when I can!
The list is long so it is in Docs form

* Have a monthly income of $580
* Be a seasonal worker and have an avg monthly income over the previous 6 months that is at least $580
* Work at least 80 hours
* Complete at least 80 hours of community service
* Participate in a work program for at least 80 hours

*Engage in any combination of the above for at least a total of 80 hours.
Iβll also share the pictures of the letter as well that has this information and a little more.
This was mailed to me yesterday by the way.
Iβm extremely concerned and frustrated over this. I may only be 21, but I work with the homeless and itβs already tough to get them food. Now theyβre losing the insurance that they literally need so badly.

π Streets of OKC π§ I miss the old 23rd
I live near 23rd and the strip and visited it frequently growing up and the removal of the trees in the median honestly made the street lose aura πͺ
I understand itβs still in construction and will look better when finished but it feels like it lost its personality

βQ&A β Plus Size / Big Tall Western Wear?
Iβm new to western/cowboy styles. Is there a shop in the OKC area that services plus-sized ladies or big/tall men?
Iβve been to a couple only to see that belt sizes top out at 44-inches, which is usually a telling indicator.

βQ&A β Mri
Is there any hospitals that I could check out to get an MRI without insurance by any chance? My leg has been killing me and have had prior torn ligaments? Or do I need a Dr referral and insurance to receive an MRI scan? Thanks in advance

π½οΈ Food/Drink π₯ How to acquire Buffalo Trace?
I find it baffling that almost all bars here carry Buffalo Trace bourbon but you can't just buy it at a liquor store. Is there some exclusivity agreement I don't know about? Is there anywhere in the metro or surrounding areas you can buy a bottle?

βQ&A β Any other colectors of Vintage paperback in OKC
So I used to collect Vintage paperbacks, the old ones that were 10 - 75 cents. Curious if any other collectors exist in OKC area.

Politics Tired of McMansions and suburban sprawl, OKC needs mixed development zoning ASAP!
I know a lot of older people feel that the dream is a big lawn, white picket fence, and the big house but lets get real! I was super excited to see that zoning laws, ADU restrictions, and our massive 7k sqft lot size is all being reviewed and modernized in OKC! So much of the city is car dependent because we live to quote O Brother Where Art Thou, "Two weeks from everywhere!"
What do you all think about revised zoning laws and the possibility for more multi family homes and business first floor living unit above style buildings?

βQ&A β RealID with expired green card
Hello. Does anyone know if I could get my real id with an expired green card? I have a paper from USCIS that says I am good for another 2 years since I applied for citizenship. I have called multiple times but all I got was a straight no as soon as I brought up the word expired so please let me know if you know anything before I go in person!

π½οΈ Food/Drink π₯ Braum's Burgers?
Howdy. I've always been a big Braum's stan. The past few times I've had a beef burger from there, the beef is different. It's more firm, and almost snaps off when taking a bite? Very odd. Texture is off. Taste is off. Kind of freaking me out.

Recommendation/Review Looking for cool places for Fantasy Draft
I'm looking for somewhere nice or fun to do a fantasy draft here or near OKC. Last-minute plans shifted us to do one here rather than out of town.
Does anyone know any places that would be cool or fun to have a larger party to do fantasy football drafts? Any place that includes sports or activities is a bonus.
