Now I'm grown, I decided to make Transport Rides work how I would have liked them to when I was a little one.

- Guests can now use transport rides to get to their chosen destination.
- They will stay on the transport until they reach the correct station. They don't have to get off at the next station.

This is done with an extra 'memory layer' on top of the usual 'look at the map and decide where to go'.

If the transport is needed to get there (e.g. if it is unreachable without), or if they think it might faster use the transport, they will take it.

Hey there. I am a huge RCT fan, but havent tried OpenRCT so far and didnt play the original for at least a decade. I quite like to build large parks, so after hearing that open got rid of (all?) limits in the game i wanted to give it a try. Tho, i remember that at least in the original guests did complain a lot about not finding the park exit once your park became large enough. That was always quite annoying. Since its possible to build 999x999 now, is this still a thing in open?

Basically if you could add negative debt to the bank as an investment and get back half the interest rate for the loan as gains each month.

Corrected the Mecalodon queue to go through the buildings, amongst other things. Last update for a couple weeks at least.

I played basicly all the maps with funding from rides with no problem. But everimy time i try a entry only funding i struggle every time after a year or so. What is the strategy for maps like this

Hi, I have an issue with the railroad in the scenario Woodstock: in shuttle mode, yes I play in openrct, the train leaves and arrives normal. But when it should go into rev it is stuck at the end of the station, with the status 'departing station'. I changed the lenghth of the train and it's type, but no difference. Does anyone know something,

I'm playing a custom park called Apogee Oasis and you need to get 95,000 a month in rides, it's a complete nightmare. I built the biggest park I've ever seen and got nowhere near.

I want to superoptimise it, but I can't find a list anywhere of what each ride contributes to the soft guest cap for RCT2. Someone must have compiled one somewhere, surely.

I recently downloaded and installed OpenRCT2 (not from STEAM) onto my Windows 11 desktop. I want to enable cheats. Every video I can find shows a gear tab in the options menu to turn on cheats (Golden Shovel). Am I missing something with this install? Is there a mod I need to add?

I know that sounds dumb but googling custom content for rtc2 or open rtc2 doesn't take me very far.

Mostly want alot of new scenery and rides.

Trying to play RTC3 on a newer MacBook.

1 or 2 are great too, so any advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

Mesmerized by this bottom-up look at parks, and I will for sure be putting this tool to use to zone in on hard-to-see areas. My love & appreciation for OpenRCT2 may never stop growing!

First fell in love with RCT as a kid (as I'm sure many here did), and it's come and gone from my life many times over since then. This time, it's come charging back with a vengeance and I decided that OpenRCT2 is the answer for me after stumbling upon a stream of someone playing it (their last upload was a few days ago, so I know they're playing a very recent version).

I downloaded it yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it. I did have just one question that I think I may already know the answer to, but I wanted to ask it just to be sure:

I noticed on the stream I was watching that they have access to a bunch of pre-built coasters, go kart tracks, etc. all with those sort of random names comprised of numbers (in addition to the normal pre-builts). On my version I'm not seeing those, just the ones that are already named (woodchip, mischief, etc.).

I downloaded the Latest Release, not the Development Build. Would that be the reason?

Any assistance would be much appreciated! Thanks for an amazing game with amazing updates.

Hello! I have a color question - some parks I see in the community have a different overall color scheme from the 'default' RCT one, making icons/elements/etc have a slightly different shade. For example, Belle Isle seems to make everything slightly more pastel-y:

Like the park value bar is a more muted green vs. the usual bright green, the regular shovel icon is sort of a sepia rather than red. Is this a filter applied to the entire park? How do you apply that to a park?
