My only two tattoos being a Fontaines one and the brand new eyes butterfly…. God I wish I could see this show

Disclaimer for anyone abroad thinking of coming for this, this is a nightmare venue that requires a 5-7km walk one way to the venue from where the drop off points are, it is not unheard of for the walk to/from taking 4hrs.
As an Irish person, I'm gonna hold off for more announcements as there have been leaks for UK/EU tours from a reputable source on insta.

5-7 km? Really? How 😭 Fontaines and Hayley are literally my two favorites and I’ve considered travelling for this but that sounds absolutely insane

Yes, Slane is a very small town with incredibly narrow roads, making it challenging for buses/many cars to pass through. This paired with Slane Castle being a private family owned property, they cannot open the grounds up fully for a massive carpark leaving people with no choice but to walk.
It is common knowledge in Ireland how treacherous of a journey it is, anyone who's been to Slane swears to never do it again (pinch of salt). All things considered, Slane tends to be monumental lineups and one for the books, I wanted to be transparent as those with disabilities/accessibility/medical considerations may book without this knowledge.

It's an iconic venue, check out who has played there in the past.
But yes, if you have any issues walking then it's probably not for you.

Someone please tell me that she'll play an indoor venue in Dublin as part of the EU tour. Slane is a nightmare 😭😭
Also what time will she be on? It seems like she won't play a long set as she's supporting Fontaines DC

Usually the first subheader of a Slane gig gets at least an hour so it will be a long enough set in fairness. I doubt she does another indoor gig, and if she does, it will be on the other side of the year due to exclusivity clauses.

Ugh that sucks. I checked other support sets at Slane before and they just played around 10 songs. Just not worth it to trek to Slane as I'm not that into Fontaines DC. I'll pray she has another show in Ireland or I might just fly to the UK

Yeah I would definitely consider going abroad, it could cost you less overall if you factor in better value for money set time wise and you can make a trip of it. Fontaines are unreal live for what it's worth though.

I am very much hoping she's going to have a separate solo show as well

For UK fans, this is on Glastonbury weekend, so... Hayley at Glastonbury, maybe?
